  1. Please somebody report the truth on this. The Western Cape only deployed a small number of qualified rescuers. There was help offered from the National team based in Gauteng within 2 hours of the incident. They declined the offer, letting victims die in the process. Its 3 weeks before an election and the political party governing the Western Cape, did not want, provinces ruled by other parties to assist, they wanted the political win.

  2. These workers are not even South African, it just tells you how these Employers prioritize cheap labour of employing immigrants. It's a sad situation but SA government needs to look into this, especially the DA that is in control of that part of the country.

  3. As a South African while I watch reports on this and hope they able to recover all workers trapped.. I can’t help thinking about Gaza and the buildings Israel has bombarded with residential civilians inside, not having access to equipment to aid recovery nor hospitals to take survivors to.

  4. Palestinians have had to do this without equipment for months. actually, if some were here they would have been able to help faster than the expert rescue team.
