South Africa: ANC vote collapses in historic election | BBC News

The South African party ANC, once led by Nelson Mandela, has been hit with its worst election result since apartheid ended 30 years ago.

With results from 99% of voting districts declared the ANC has 40%.

This is a steep fall since the last election when it got 57%, and means it will have to share power with one or more parties.

ANC leaders…

  1. A few families of the white minor let go of political power but always kept a STRONGHOLD on the economy

The same is true of France in west Africa. Mines must benefit the people…🔥

  2. WHY? because they brough false charges against Israel and supported the filthy terroist as BBC does, and BBC support the protesters who support the filthy terroist, this is how perverted this news network has become. I wonder how many millions of muslims dollars pay bbc's wages, because why is the muslim tail wagging the bbc dog. bbc is a traitor to it's own nation.

  3. For Those cheering on, hold your horses, the coalition will infact make it more radical, in stances where the ANC was neutral, MK and EFF are s strong on land policy, so by cheering on this is an inti climax, to the white minority, you can't undo apartied, it's over the black men knows your tricks… He will never allow you power again…

  4. I only would like to remind and reprimand you that the group of people who identify as the Palestinian nation has never existed. The territory that they inhabited and occupied was the Promised Land, which was exclusively granted to Israel by the Gods of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Your country is a country that stands on your belief in Christ who is the redeemer of sins and savior of mankind.

You don't give a damn about what is written in the Holy Bible, so I don't need to quote scriptures.

Your governments just care about being well-known, prestigious, peacekeepers, human rights advocates, etc. But many other people—especially Christians—are also persecuted, murdered, and subjected to torture in this region of the world. Where were you when they needed your support, and where are your voices and deeds? You people are hypocrites. In other words, because of the way you all act and think against Israel, God will express His wrath toward you all. God is going to overthrow your government, your entire cohort, your spouse or wife, and your kids. It won't be until your third and fourth descendants that they will all be spared from His retribution.

You have dared Him, so now wait for His wrath, and then you will all recognize the heinous transgression you have committed against the God of Israel. However, it's already too late. Furthermore, the South African government, which believes it is fighting for everyone and likes to be considered the champion of human rights, will certainly suffer from God's anger. The ANC will never win in any of the elections and you will see first-hand that the ANC will completely lose all of this year's elections, and that's just the beginning of the worst that lies ahead.

Moreover, I’m sure you have Read the REPORT that REVEALS APARTHEID ARMY "DIRTY TRICKS" (SAPA). Another topic you should know: "Lies, scams and fraud: SA's 'dirty' politicians get a merciless drubbing" The SA government walks shamelessly and brazenly with their dirty feet through every aspect of the South African lives. And the dirty list goes on. Are you now ashamed of yourself that the world community knows about your gangster and bandit behaviour while you tried very hard to bring Israel to ICJ? The other disgusting thing is that,

  5. Just to remind how South Africa ANC Government is the biggest Hypocrite party ever exist. . The Janjaweed is in fact an Arab-Isis militia and The SA ANC denied flouting international law in 2015 by failing to arrest visiting Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted for trial by war crimes judges on charges of genocide in Darfur. There "was no duty under international law on South Africa to arrest the serving head of a non-state party such as Mr Omar al-Bashir," Pretoria's legal advisor Dire Tladi argued. Despite two international arrest warrants issued in 2009 and 2010, Bashir remains at large and in office amid the raging conflict in the western Sudanese region of Darfur.

He has denied the ICC's charges, including three accusations of genocide as well as war crimes and crimes against humanity. The UN Security Council asked the ICC in 2005 to investigate the crimes in Darfur, where at least 300,000 people have been killed and 2.5 million displaced, according to UN figures. Pretoria, which had sought legal clarification from ICC judges before Bashir's 2015 visit, argues that the Sudanese leader has immunity as a head of state. So now the ANC Goverment wants to take Israel to ICC? what a joke

  6. We sit here in judgment when the UK and US governments are the most corrupt governments on the planet. We just call it campaign donations and legalise it. If the BBC were a news organisation you would all know this every day.

  7. Ramaphosa the failure of the anc is due to your ineptitude. Shame shame shame, bury your head as a total loser should. Resign and play with your cows and stop destroying our beautiful country

  8. The idea that ANC support base is fed up with corruption is nonsense. They just voted for the MK party – led by the most corrupt of the lot. I’ve heard thought leaders saying that south africans punish poor governance but I think that diagnosis is incorrect. The trees are still voting for the axes because they are made of wood.
