  1. Sad to hear such a traumatic death, I hope the driver wasnt using his mobile phone. I have witnessed taxi drivers, coach drivers and ordinary people texting while driving in Johannsburg and Zimbabwe. Maybe checking his phone records, not that he was using it but as part of an investigation. My heart goes to all whose beloved ones perished , and to the 8 year old you are an Angel one day you will tell the world the goodness of GOD.

  2. Condolences to the famillies at a time like this am sending out my prayers its very sad 😢😢😢 omg wat a crash may they soul RIP texting from madrid spain 🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦

  3. Truly awful and heartbreaking. Condolences to the victims' families. May this little girl get all the help and resources she needs to live a healthy, happy life. 🙏🏽😭

  4. My heart breaks for that 8-year-old girl. To witness such a horrific event and then be the only survivor must be unimaginably painful. It's a tragic way to lose loved ones, and the knowledge that she may experience survivor's guilt only adds to the heartbreak.

  5. Tragic accident… but BBC please explain the heading. The ME conflict has highlighted language and words used such that killed is often associated with intention. I don’t recall any intention being found and it is still regarded as an accident.. would the headline be the same in Europe?

  6. This is a tragedy for the Botswana at large, the reason why they ended up on that road is that i got lost on the way, because some were using cars. The driver left behind 6 months old baby…..the 8 year old is the one who provided the most crucial information to the police

Every death is ordained by God and nothing is by mistake, the quicker we as people realise that our death was already written down to happen on a certain day at a certain time, it becomes easier to live.

  8. My condolences to the families of those lost. Hard to believe anyone survived it. It must have been so difficult for the paramedics not to be able to approach the burning vehicle to save more.
