  1. Hey there. Black American here. First, let me start by saying that the food looks absolutely delicious! It looks really good. However, it isn't soul food. This kind of food you are eating is what you would find in an American diner in the US including a breakfast diner. So, it is American themed or styled food, but it is more mainstream America. Soul food is a Black American origin cuisine within the US and the style of cooking is different. What would come close to our food style would be a "southern style" breakfast that would be American style biscuits, sausage, gravy, grits, fried salmon patties, sometimes plain cooked rice, fat back, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc…We would have some things on that Americans menu like pancakes, but we would do cornbread cakes, a steak and eggs, chicken fried steak with gravy, fried potatoes, shrimp and grits, and some of us will fry fish and serve it with our rice or grits and eggs….So, some minor changes.

  2. Everytime i watch your videos i want to move to your country, you should do tourism clips more…
and no the chipped plates are not acceptable at all.

  3. I av been here… z an amazing place 💯💯💥💥🥰🥰 foods r great, Customer service Top notch 👌 I av visited d place twice 😋….. ur videos r always fantastic

  4. At this point you look like Fummee here! I agree about chipped plates it immediately puts me off. I have never been to any restaurants here and received chipped plates but this is “the abroad”. The food looked tasty though and the attendants seem very responsive like they didn’t leave you to wonder where they are. That was my problem when I visited Lagos and went to Cubanos smhh

  5. Their food looks delicious, they served with chipped plate think that the customer won't notice 😀 anyways I think it's because you were curious, many would think its actually a design, so since it's not design they should consider investing in plates na,

  6. the prices are a bit high for the food they are serving especially for them to put your food on chipped plates. Also i saw fans and not an AC unit outside.if they fix all the above and charge 15 dollars for food (6500 naira) then it would be worth it as long as the food is good. but i wouldnt go to that place for those prices for a chicken sandwich or pancakes.

  7. I detest eating with chipped Plate too. Food looked good 👍
    22k tho… hmmm.
Oh well… Lagos is expensive anyway especially on the Island

  8. Lovely food but chipped plates are a no-no! Plates have a glossy surface which is a glaze that covers and seals the material that the plate is made from. It keeps the bacteria out. When a plate or a cup is chipped and the outer seal (the surface) is broken, bacteria can get into the plate. If anyone eats from that plate….. The same with cups. Apparently.
