However, another motive is becoming more apparent which is to cease Bab-Al-Mandan on the Red Sea. Ethiopia is desperately trying to disguise this as access to the sea for economic and commercial purposes for its large population.
However, this has been exposed when Ethiopia was offered sea ports by various nations in the region but Ethiopia declined it.
