TRIED THE RECIPE! Mashallah I aced it! I thanks to my confidence in chapati making, I was able to do this without worry. Nah I outdid myself bro. Jzk for recipe
My family used to make separate sambusa for me since I don’t like onions, so just packed meat 😆 I was spoiled. I still like my onions very small or barely noticeable.
Hi, would it be possible to have the exact quantity of salt please ?
The best recipe ever. It was my first time turned out so great!
😊Thank you for sharing this recipe. A coworker gave me one of these at work last.
It tasted soooo good!!! Cant wait to make these myself. ❤❤❤
Best Somali food EVER it’s actually Ramadan so gotta go ask my mom to make this😂
Hooyo used to make these sambus every ramadan, but when I turned vegan 6 years ago, they were definitely the one dish I missed the most. I never thought of just making these my self but vegan by just replacing the minced beef with an alternative. I'm excited to try these out and see if they could compare to my mum's recipe.
Thank you 😂
Aslamau aleikum sister how long does this take to make ?
How many sambusas will this recipe make?
Thank you so much for the recipe. I work in a large Somalian community and always loved these.
Allah bereket versin amin. Çok lezzetli görünüyor bende yapacağım. Selam Aleykum. Elhamdülillah.
Hi, I would like to ask you if you fill sambos only with meet or even with something else. I mean vegetables or shrimps for example.
it is Saambuuse not sabus.
Excellent 👍👍👍
Love it! How do you freeze them?
Beautiful. I like the way you say it Sambus. The correct way to say it is Sambusa/samboosa with vowel A at end of the word as it's in Arabic سمبوسة
I'm Algerian I live in London I love Somalian samosa ❤
Thanks
MashAllah Walaikum Salam WarahmetuAllahi Wabarakatuh
I like your video, I married to a Somalian and is unforgivable that I don’t know how to make sambusas; I’m Mexican and is has been hard for me to cook Somali food; in anyway he likes my Mexican food too.
My colleague brings it during Ramadan, a delicious taste with minced meat and fish that I've been longing for all my life.
انت صومالية ومسلمة وليش عم تحكي انكليزي طيب مابتعرفي تحكي عربي لكن المفروض تترجمي للعربية ..لان الصراحة صرعتينا على قد ماحكيتي 😢 وشكرا
Can I use olive oil to make the pastry?
Masha Allah real somali sambusa
That is the way i like it
Go girl
No xawaaji?
Go girl you made real somali sambusa..
Feines sambusa👍❤
I love Somali women there are very clean,,,
Thank you so much, I can't wait to try and make my very own Sambus 😋
My favourite sambusa recipe!
Jättegott, samosa eller sambusa, men jag föredrar att löken är stekt först, gärna ihop när man bryner färsen. Man kan också ha kycklingbitar iställer för färs och de vegetariska är också väldgt goda.
Thank you for sharing the recipe sister, I really apperciate it! I've been too embarrassed too ask my mum and aunties on how to make this haha, so they'll be impressed when I make this.

I love so very well the samboussa and we eat the ramadan, the evening ,the morning and whereever
My kids will hate to eat at your house they have been eating chili peppers in their food since 2 years old
Thanks 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing
Me and my family are Moroccan and we always used to give food to and receive from my Somali neighbors. My favourite thing was definitely sambosa, sooo tasty I couldn’t get enough of it😂 I’m gonna give this a try myself this Ramadan insha Allah.
This is a long method, pre drying and putting 2 sheets together. My mum made the circles and cut in middle and done it without cooking the sheets. Then fried it after stuffing it and sealing. Looks nice though but time consuming.
