Somali pirates begin hijacking ships again after Houthi attacks create security vacuum


The recent capture of MV Abdullah, carrying 55,000 tonnes of coal from Mozambique to the United Arab Emirates, comes after the seizure of the Maltese-flagged bulk cargo ship Ruen in December.

That was the first successful hijacking involving Somali pirates since 2017, who back in their heyday from 2005 captured dozens of ships in a campaign…

  2. What a news channel 😢😢😢 did not even named Indian Navy saved the ship from pirates and not even mentioned the title of the video correctly 😢😢 shame on British news channel for not doing their work

  3. did somone noticed how bad these news channels are…they didnt write anything about which navy saved those lives with ship …just 1 time in the video at the last moment was wriiten that indian navy intercepted this…nowhere in the poster or thumnail

  4. India is helping their western masters are trying hard to create false flag pirate attacks in order to to continue pillage the Somali territorial water, steal resources and dump toxic waste and blame Yemen for the resurgence of what they called pirates.

  5. It is a Bangladeshi ship (🇧🇩) . Which is currently in the hands of pirates of Somania. We want people on board to be healthy . ( please help) 💚😢

  6. Why did the ships not have security on them? I don’t understand. They were guards and security personnel ships they could be very well armed. I’m sure could avoid this situation.
