We, as Muslims, believe that Al-Aqsa Mosque, or Jerusalem, has become a Muslim right. Before Islam, specifically during the era of the Prophet Moses, peace and blessings be upon him, the Jews had the right to it because they had a law and a prophet, and we as Muslims believe that Islam is the religion of all prophets, no matter how different they are. This is mostly accurate, except for any relation to the Messiah. The advent of an anointed one was not prophesied until well after the temple was built, and his death was a public execution, not a sacrifice. Not everything relates to Christ, and no one recommends that Christ be placed before deity, least of all Christ himself.
