Let me tell you who brought down China and XI. You Republicans are not going to like it.

Obama sent Hillary Clinton to Asia, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam. She went there as an emissary to promote a program that was beneficial to them and to United States. The United States no longer wanted China to have a stranglehold on inexpensive items.

So the deal was if Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines would manufacture products for the United States, we would buy them from that group of countries, not china. We would also help them with construction of those factories. It took 13 years since 2009 for this to have a big affect on China.

The reason they’re going after XI is not because he’s corrupt which he is. It’s because the country is economically going down the toilet because we’re buying less items from China and more from other Asian countries.

This is one of the reasons Temu was created. China has such a mass amount of unsold products they’re cutting the prices by 80% on Temu.

Any real news on this? It could be simply adjusting the packaging of the same old management, to make it less reprehensible to outside trade partners.

But this is literally the same exact rumor as before in 2022, I mean it got my hopes up but I bet it’s bs, it’s weird that it’s the exact same thing back then they said there was coup and that he was on house arrest and that was 2 years ago. So prolly not true.

This may be a slightly controversial statement, but here we go anyway…
It may not be necessary for the CCP to be destroyed and fully ousted outright, they have way too many members in absolute numbers for that to be a viable solution. Also, it is extremely unlikely for a situation like the ones in Germany or Japan after WWII, with occupation forces forcefully imparting political changes such as “de-nazification” on the occupied territories, to arise in modern times in China.
What is of utmost importance is for there to be a fundamental change in attitude within the party. This may be something that could happen with a generational shift in the party structure if the younger cohorts start seeing more clearly. I am certain that prevention of this is a very important task for the “Great Firewall”. If such an attitude shift occurs, and ideally at least some allowances for voicing opinions, and hopefully with time – some opposition parties at least let into the people’s assemblies to at a minimum add a few against-votes and complaining about the (perpetually) incumbent ruling party.
This will probably be far from a democracy, but at least there will be some jester whispering “memento mori”. With time there is a chance of a better future.
Remember how Taiwan became a democracy. It was a lucky confluence of events and the right leader in power when the opportunity showed itself. The generational shift may be the most important part of getting a change in Chinese politics.
