I have a caramel skin tone but I have acnes on my face and my skin tone is uneven. I have stopped using body lotions for close to a year now due to the fear of skin hyperpigmentation. I use Shea butter on my skin but it's getting darker. I am not dark but caramel in skin tone.

I use Nivea radiant and beauty and ever since my mom has been complaining that why would I buy a 3500 worth of body lotion and I'm darker coz it's not working . So I want to ask that is it that I'm not using the right one for my skin tone or it is as a result of me not using a sun screen.

I have extremely dry skin aรฑd Eucerin intensive repair lotion is what works for me, will try looking for that Vaseline nourishing argan oil lotion to try it out mostly during the day.
