So the boy stayed in the hospital without being attended to, and neither the school nor the family followed up….
Pls take action immediately u were informed about ur child's illment , aabbaaaaa 3 days dee333 is too much ….hospital, school and family are all to be blamed…..
But i will blame the family more because that's the first priority … never trust ur kids in the hands of anyone no matter what… this is painful, but 3 days is too much for negligence
Three days and no family member followed up eeehhiii…its sad but pls …family members we shd sometimes do the needful….
A call was made to u twice, and ur hope is in a guardian to buy meds…. its sad ….my condolences to the family
# Day School is currently more safer than Boarding school. Parents and Guardians, please choose wisely. Thanks
But is not the fault of the school you parents were even informed before sending the boy to the hospital so what again
So wat is the government doing about all this ahhhh , how are these people even allowed to be called teachers hmm
Negligence on both parties. Parents upon hearing this will quickly leave home and head to the school. From Friday to Monday, just calling on phone?
You people shouldn't just rely on one side story to judge the school, you shouldn't be in hurry to judge this great school but my condolences to the family.
You the mother the child, your son called you that he is not feeling well and you bought medicine sent to car to a friend you know to give to your child and when the sickness increased you still didn't come for your child but told the same person to take exeat from the school to take the boy to the hospital so that you sister will come and take care of him for you.
Even you the mother, your weren't there for your child, what medicine did give to your boy and that medicine who prescribed it to him, and who said is the responsibility of the school to be checking on students after family members have taken them from the school. The boy died at the hospital a week later so why are you blaming the school.
I know is very sad issue and we wish no one to experience this painful thing but don't sift your blame to the school.
As far as you have taken your child from the school ryt from there it is no more the responsibility of the school again and after all there are thousands of children under them. You have gone for your child and still you want the school to be checking on your child so please take heart in this moment of devastation.
How on earth do you blame the school for this?
You want the housemaster to go and sit in the hospital?
This story is nonsense. You were in the house for 5 days and never boarded to visit and find out how your son is doing. You think the housemaster is a nurse?
The boys parents neglected their son not the school.
Here we go again. What the heck is GES doing abt this stupidity?
And why didn't any member of the family too visit the hospital after he was admitted to the hospital??? 😟😟💁💁
Omg this is just sad😭
Chale it’s getting out of control Ghanaians Dey fool tooo much of late 🤦🏾♂️ it’s not funny anymore chale avoidable deaths soorrnn wey Dey happen
It's the family's fault. Sometimes if you are teacher and you take these kids to the hospital and you stand in to pay all the bills, for the parents to pay you back it will become a problem so i don't blame the teachers. Three days? weren't you checking up on the boy as a parent? who do you expect to be paying the bills in all those three days if he was actually being taken care of
Mock so y3 di3n? They even mark those papers …there's more to life than mock
1) Did the boy visit the infirmary? 1st point of call
2)How did the labourer get hold of the boy without the notice of school authorities? Did he walk out himself or was conveyed by a vehicle?
3)Did school authorities call parents to report of the child taken out of school?
School na SCAM!!!!!!
The school authorities didn't handle the situation well but I will also blame the parents as well. knowing very well their son was sick since Friday and calls kept coming in from Friday and they never saw it as a matter of agency to go personally and handle the situation is also bad on their part. These incident have been happening so as parents, you don't have to leave situations like this for just anyone to handle it. its very unfortunate things went this way. My condolence to the family. May God grant the innocents boy and eternal rest.
This is not surprising if you have experienced the boarding house system of our shs. They took the boy to the hospital right, they've even done more than expected. What did the boy's family also do after he was taken to the hospital? I'm disappointed at the family, they neglected the boy and now they are putting the blame on the school.
Free shs
Not Free hospitality
Ghana national and their negligence twiaaa
If you are truly sick, pls stay away from hospitals. At the moment, no hospital is safe in this country. Not only will they neglect you, but they will also drain all your money. And that the end your condition will only worsen.😢
The school authorities are not at fault here. The child was taken to the hospital where he died after 3 days. Once the student is out of the school and the parents are aware, he’s no longer the responsibility of the school. How does the school checking up on him saves his life in the hospital? He died under the care of competent health professionals. Family just looking for a way to cash out. They’ll lose in court since they also didn’t go there to check on him.
So what exactly happened at the hospital?. Patients are supposed to be cared for regardless of there being a relative or not.
In loco parentis – We as teachers have that responsibility to take care of students in our care like they are our Personal kids. #AfricanStoriesRetold
So the nurses and doctors too no matter what his people will come so how come they couldn’t save him from what he’s suffering from or he had to be transferred to a different hospital because the sickness was beyond their care. What happened at the hospital sef
This hits close to home, hmmm i remember my niece went through a similar ordeal at Holy Child two to three years ago she experienced severe abdominal pains and reported to the infirmary. She was neglected and the young girl had to cry to some of her mates who finaly called my mum to inform her. We had to go through hell before she was even released to us to send her to the hospital. They said it was late and that we should go home and come pick her the following day since administration had closed for the day even tho they were informed we had driven all the way from Takoradi. We had to beg for her to be released then we rushed her to interbeton hospital instantly. it took God's intervention and the quick thinking Doctors and medical staff to swifly conduct a surgical operation on her. Thanklfully she survived. My heart goes to the family and R.I.P. to that student.
This country unless God. This sad. May his Soul Rest In Peace 😢🥺
okay the school is at fault but the hospital too comes to question…. arent there HCP in the hospital. if not one is coming to check on the child they left the child to die. we have to look at all those involved .. Ghana health care is also be checked. Please stay save and don't get sick..
This is a similar thing that happened in Kumaca some years ago, with the first student rip
Most of the high schools don't have professionals in the sick bay. It's either some of the students or teachers that are attending to them if there's anyone.
