If people want real change, and not swapping one bunch of crooks for another, they must achieve four things.

1. End private funding of politics. All party political activity should be funded, by an autonomous organ of government. The organ must be separate like the judiciary.

2. Create an impartial, independent corruption investigation and prosecution agency. It must not end up like Brazil's Car Wash project – a weapon against opposition politicians.

3. Create a media trust, in order to separate ownership of media from control of media. Enforce impartiality and objectivity in reporting. Separate the reporting and editing from analysis and interpreting. Create a media court to protect the independence of journalists and the just treatment of the subjects of reporting.

4. Create equality of opportunity and a caring society. The state exists to maximize the welfare of society.

When the naira hits 9k to 1 usd or rice is 500k maybe Nigeria will protest. The whole of Africa can change and Nigeria will still find a way to accept these leaders.

anarchy happens when its the misfits are spearheading the revolution. In Kenya its genuine concerned citizens who are want to know where the country is going. this guy is selling fear, the mafia in government does not respond to just words.

The man speaking is very sick. Does he think Kenyans are protesting because we don't love our country? Your Naira is the way it is because you are so naive. We have had so many government puppets like him before; and they are mostly the ones who fraudulently ended up in this government and see what they are doing. It starts when they tell you protesting is lack of patriotism. What of the looting and stashing tax payer monies in the West? Is that loving your country? And it is done by the very few who are seriously ready to impoverish the masses.

This discussion shows a high level of ignorance on why really Kenyans are protesting. You need to have a Kenyan explain to you. The protest is because the government that Kenya has now has been planted by the Americans. As a result, they have implemented only what the Americans have told them to do. This includes allowing gays to have gay rights in Kenya against what Kenyan constitution says. The Government has passed a law to make it criminal to engage in agricultural activities unless one has some sort of qualification! Many many western ideas to degenerate the rights of the people have been brough to this country Kenya.

This mumu thinks loving a country is being quite while you are suffering… I love my fellow Kenyans for being so courageous, even when they know they might die. Maumau's blood still runs through our veins. Viva my Kenyan people!

Kenyans know how to fight when pushed too far. It’s not anarchy. That’s an insult to Kenyans you need to apologize. The Kenyans youths fought for their rights.
