Don’t aim at the front of the rim, I hit it every time when I focus on it
There are two types of shooters. There are the shooters who aim for a specific target on the rim and there is the other shooter that shoots his form. If you aim you can miss a lot if you shoot your form and I’m talking about correct form, you can make the shot with a hand in your face where you can’t see the rim because once your form is locked, your shot is automatic. I shoot my form. My form is locked. I don’t care what you do to try to stop me it’s going in and I don’t even need to see the rim you can have a hand in my face. If you want it doesn’t matter I’ve always had guys saying I’m gonna block that shot. I’m gonna block that shot And they couldn’t touch it. The release is too quick and the form is just too tight.

I always tried to point my index and middle finger towards the center of the rim when shooting, shooting a bit higher above the rim works for me
idk the whole hook thing to me is just for curry if anyone else try's that theyll shoot short

Another tip is don’t over think,if you start thinking to much you’ll start missing.Just square up and shoot the ball.
