  1. It wasn’t just that they were living quints-they were IDENTICAL!! And given the circumstances of their birth, it’s really an unbelievable accomplishment. All that being said, what a horror show. That Dr. belonged in jail. I guess this is what happens to people without television to stare at!

  2. I’m new too your channel thank you for sharing these sad conditions I was born legally blind I’m 68 and understand what it’s like having been born with a disability!!!

  3. I was born with Two uterus two cervix and septum. I understand exactly what this woman dealt with. My daughter was carried in my left side. That's actually my smaller side. My daughter was perfect. I also lived in Brewster New York at the Seth B. Howe castle. It was an incredible experience. I always loved the circus 🎪 😊

  4. The fact that the Dionne Quintuplets were identical is the most fascinating part of it. Yes, other multiple births have occurred since but as far as I know none have been like them, that is, from a single egg and one spermatozoa which then divided itself into five or six fetuses.

  5. I watched a documentary some years ago that interviewed people who lived and worked in the sideshows. I found it interesting that their attitude towards the shows was directly opposite of what you would think. One of them said that he was proud to be a "freak" and that it was a shame that those days are over as it gave him a chance to earn a living and have a sense of community with others that were different, to travel and see places and people that would never have been possible given his particular issues.
In fact that was the attitude of pretty much all of them and the saddest day of their lives was when the shows closed down. They talked about how many of their colleagues just faded away with nothing to do and nothing to look forward to.

  6. Political correctness, as usual, accomplishes nothing today in regards to people of unusual development. It is in people's natures to be curious, and the participants of the sideshows more often than not became extremely wealthy, while having a family like community of other performers. As is the way of political correctness, some triggered snowflake on a liberal arts college campus gets offended on the behalf of some other person, and expects the world to change to accommodate their offendedness; whereas the persons on whom's behalf the woke campaign for ever more stringent sensitivity and delimited candid public interaction, are apt to not share with the woke their view of themselves as victims. Lets wake up from being woke. It is a nightmare.

  7. So, horribly and sadly Elephantitus got the name because his mother was scared by an elephant while pregnant with him? They actually (and please correct me if I am wrong)think that her getting scared by an elephant while pregnant made him have this awful and sad illness?

  8. well, thank you very much. Annie Jones is a hero of mine it's so nice to see hers & the others' stories told with admiration & compassion. Enjoyed the delivery, so nicely spoken. It took a while to hear the accent, Midlands? impressed with the research, photos & music. The art work is fantastic & draws all the other elements together. Subscribed

  9. Thank you for giving folks respect in their stories. I'd be interested in knowing if they want to be channeled. They likely have complex stories to tell if they want to. I'm not the most accurate channeler, but there are many of us channeling one another out here. LoL, now that we know, we also know those who are able to pinpoint sources. They impress me to no end.

  10. I'm from Medicine myself, studied, examinated and educated in three different Professions. I know nearly all about Mr. Merrick and I love the heartwarming Movie were Cher mimed his loving Mother. Okay, that was only a Movie – but it gives me an enourmous Respect for Cher, the Actors and the Director and Maker of this!
It was heartwarming and a Sign to all Humans which have seen it😍😢💞❣️
I have seen so many Diseases, have lost my own Man in the Age of 50, I know how incredible Diseases can be – and the People we are living next Door to Door!
Humans are the cruelest Creatures ever! And the toughest and bravest, too ❣️💞😢

  11. You should do a story that includes Sarah Baartman who was involuntarily forced into one of these performances all because she was a black woman who had a curvy figure it undoubtedly would show the cruelty of people especially towards black people or anyone else that they did not understand or was different, to be honest, at the time.
