This is so overblown. I'm a First Gen Nigerian American. Most black men date/marry black women in 1st World "Melting Pot" countries. Has interracial dating/marriage increased? Yes. Are those couples still the vast MINORITY? Yes. Most of us who date outside of our race don't do it because of skin color. It's way more about values, interests, social groups, relationship roles, etc.

I like the topic. Here'is my experience: I born in an African country, of course I'm black. Grew-up and study in Europe since I was ten. Black women or girls when I was young did not look at my direction, they still not do it. I studied in Spain and France, now working in the UK, London for the past 20 years. When I am in social events, white women come to talk to me, ask my opinion about things that are related with work and or life. Black women rarely. They sit and roll their eyes. Etc… But I hear them complaining whenever a black man is dating a white woman.
It will be good if we respect the fact that people can choose and date whoever they want to.

I was born and bred in the UK, and to be honest UK black men were not checking for me. I went to where I was celebrated and married a black man from Africa. Although we do see black UK men with black UK women several of these men have really put their women through ALOT before they choose to marry them. There is something in the water here. Like I said, I use to not want to accept this idea, but sadly what this woman has said has some truth.
