  1. It's funny how the youth today compare Sarkodie to Shatta Wale. Why? Sarkodie didn't get to the top by chance. We respected him and supported him in our small ways. If not for the generosity and respect from Possigee, Killbeatz and all the underground artists in Tema, the likes of Zizu, who spent hours recording our vocals for no fees, how will Sark easily climb to the top? If Killbeatz and Possigee, including all the guys who supported Sarkodie from scratch, had focused on money, or had no respect for him, do we think Sark would have gotten this far? It wasn't Sark's age that made some of us respect him since we are older than him. But the fact that he started the music before us was the reason we gave him respect and support. Back in the day, Killbeatz will burn their audios onto CDs and we roamed from one drinking spot to the other sharing them at no charge at all. I personally shared Sarkodie's audios in Koforidua, moving from one restaurant to the other cos we wanted Ghana music to grow. I was only 18 years old and in my first year at the university when Shatta Wale dropped Mokoho under his Bandana name. Today I am 40 and Shatta is still on the scene making hits. Before Wale entered the industry, there were many great artists, the likes of Obrafour, Tinny, KK Fosu, Batman Samini, Kokoveli, Yogi Doggy, BukBak, Okyeame Kwame, Ofori Amponsah, Reggie Rockstone, VIP, and many more. Wale never disrespected any of the artists that came before him. We didn't even hear issues between him and the Dance Hall Star Yogi Doggy. It was all fun and respect. There was so much unity. We saw collaborations like never before. Isn't it shameful that we even mock the appearance of Shatta today? Where was Sarkodie when I was 18? I guess he was filling his first copybook at primary. But he expects Shatta Wale to be in the same age group as him. I feel very sorry for our music industry. We as fans think we are helping by promoting beef instead of uniting our artists. We do not claim superiority over our bosses at our various workplaces but we see it to be OK when a new artist emerges and starts disrespecting an artist who has been on the scene many years before them. It's a shame and the youth of today must bring a stop to it. So just because Black Sheriff is Hot today, does it make it right for him to disrespect Kelvin Boy who has been entertaining us years before him? Our bad behavior is the reason Nigerians have taken the lead from us. Allow me to type plenty. Enough is enough. If all the artists who came after Shatta had given him the due respect as an elderly brother in the game, I am sure we wouldn't have seen the harsh side of Wale. I have seen the rise and disappearance of all the artists we had in the past. So if you ask me, I will say it over and over again that we haven't treated Wale well. Wale and Okyeame Kwame have been entertaining us for decades but there is mutual respect between them so u hardly hear differences coming between them. Wale never at any point threw jabs at Okyeame Kwame cos Kwame was around before Wale came and Wale understands that. But the likes of Sarkodie and Stonebouy think the number of years someone has been doing music should be ignored. If tomorrow a new rapper comes and starts disrespecting Sark, then fans must blame themselves for promoting disrespect. Wale cannot look like a 35-year-old man cos we grow as humans and it's natural. It's not a crime to grow and look old. It's an honor for him to even meet his age. Many died without reaching 40. We hope those mocking him will even have the chance to live long enough to reach his age. I am not for any artist. I only want the best for Ghana Music. Many of the underground artists who are struggling to be heard are even far more talented than the artists ruling now. Let's create a healthy industry for them to join. Thanks.

  2. Sarkodie is not rapping against Shatta wale biaaaaa. These people are trying to create confusion on the song as the same way they did to Sarkodie’s Brag.

  3. Judging from the recent ongoing Sark is talking to Shatta or 'anaa mi budam😀😁😁' Jay bad is just doing his work. Ogya Ogya Ogya!!!
