  1. Africans please stop, you are proving them right. Did you mean qualifying athletes were replaced with people going for leisure? That can't be. But 67 for 7 is cray.

  2. 7 atheletes and 67 staffs 😀😊😄😀😊😄😀😀😊😄😀😄😊😀😊😄😄

This is Africa, anything can happen 😂😂😂😂

Corruption the order of the day.

  3. Why are Blaming Zimbabwe and it People when you know they're Under an Oppressive Government. That is what Dictatorship looks like. As the Zimbabwean People, they're just as Pissed as Everybody Else.

  4. Wow, 67 officials. To me that is embarrassing, shameful and wasteful. All they needed was a sporting president, director of the sport, PR, secretary, coach and a physio to help accommodate the 7 athletes. But 67 officials. Have all 67 officials returned home? Sounds like they are in the Mugabe erra. Disgracel is all I can say.

  5. I’m so sorry this happened! I agree with you that the authorities are acting selfishly and keeping young athletes from a lifetime accomplishment. I had no idea…..as an American, I’m sorry. We are under very selfish and greedy leaders ourselves, right now. All we can do is promote voting and freedom from those who would take from their own people.

  6. I call it what it is—corruption, plain and simple. They're strong-arming other countries into their dirty games. Zimbabwe’s idea? Apparently, everyone’s got to hold hands with ten others just to stay afloat. This whole thing reeks of milking the Olympics dry. And as if by magic, Grab Hags Aunties pop up like a bad rash—thanks, China!

  7. For comparison, my country, Indonesia, sent 29 athletes accompanied by 57 non-athlete delegations (coaches/trainers, officials, headquarters members).
Therefore, I consider 67 officials x 7 athletes be an unacceptable ratio.

  8. I immediately empathized. But while other sources support this news there are some providing specific names of officials and they are eight coaches and two officials. I also read that a private jet was used. I think rush to judgement and speculation is likely only very damaging here. Knowing for sure seems impossible so very soon, especially that the government is denying the allegations. Receipts are needed. This video offers no receipts, just expectation for the audience to believe every word and all emotion ( exactly my initial reaction). Maybe the private jet would be easy research and start there…. The upside, now, is I am interested to hear from the athletes how their Olympics experiences were.

  9. Officials are involved in sports that athletes from their nations might not have qualified for. A referee from Malawi … If very good could officiate a Mexico vs Italy match even though Malawi didn't qualify.
