OK I'm back and finished the series. The ending warmed my heart as a lesson for all of us. We don't necessarily have to keep vengeance in our hearts in order to become happier…. Carrying this toxic emotion along with the others that tends to join in can drive us crazy. There's a fine line between accepting where and what we have in life and be at peace with our circumstances. Of course was I happy she gets to walk again, that an awful person got his due back….hmmmm maybe. I think in today's social media anything goes including killing, maiming etc… and I'm sorry to say that I don't think that's a good idea. We might feel like we want to get rid of certain people on this earth but we have not been given the right to do so. Many have suffered greatly for having taken justice in their own hands. This idea of revenge being satisfying has been in the stories of movies of a long ago age starting in the early 1910, 20s… etc…in the od Hollywood and still persists. We may root for the winner but in real life definitely = not so much. I would watch another season if they would make one. Thanks.
I am truly enjoying this series. Hmmm this actor is good – he owns his role and is very passionate within each episode. All characters are well written and are pleasing to the eye. Pallance can go very far in his acting career if he gets to choose good roles and hopefully he will be offered some. The timing is good and it's well paced. I must say I've just finished Ep. 6 and this one brought tears to my eyes. To see a young afflicted child being so overwhelmed with joy at the gift and his intent of being so open about not being able to pay Shadow back made me gulp. This particular story I've seen on American TV isn't new it still was good and goes to prove that there are always despicable people willing to be evil enough to take advantage of people in need. May they burn in hell!!! So am going back to watching the rest. This show is worth everyone's time. Thanks.
