  1. I was lucky enough to travel to Senegal twice, stayed a month each trip. I had an absolutely wonderful time. Hated to leave and I still think about it. I had to watch this video in small bits because my jealously was overwhelming. ๐Ÿ˜‚โค

  6. 16:19 yes that is right. Nelson Mandela onced said that. If you talk to a person in a common language it goes to their head but if you talk to him in his home language it goes to their heart.

  7. I spent new years 2018 in Tanzania (vlogged it as well). The most amazing trips are when you go with people from the country who can show you around, experience both tourist attractions and local hot spots! I agree everyone should visit Africa and hopefully multiple countries.

  8. Another beautiful video, I am white, but this made me sick, what those man had to go trough, even today this anglo saxons are no different. Sometimes I am asking myself, if I want to come back to this dimension with open heart and so much wisdom, to see the egoistic ignorance and blindness of people in today's society, I guess I have still a lot to learn so my spirit lears more wisdom to guide me through eternity. Thank you again for your videos. Reuben

  9. I have began to use the word enslaved instead of slaves . Enslaved shows these are the conditions they were put under slaves shows this was their identity โ€“ these ancestors were people forced into an institution they are not the institution they were forced in. Enslaved to slave males a huge difference.

  10. I found out a few years ago that my roots stem from Senegal, and Iโ€™ve read about that heritage as much as I could, but I wonโ€™t be complete until I visit Dakar. Thank you for the VLOG

  11. Iโ€™m going to go with yโ€™all on the next trip. Mmmkay? ๐Ÿ˜† Seriously, watching this made me catch the travel bug, again. I havenโ€™t been anywhere since July 2019, so Iโ€™m ready for some new scenery. Iโ€™m so happy that guys had the opportunity to go on this magnificent trip! Iโ€™ve been wondering when the Uh-oh boys were going to plan their next adventure.

  12. Awe, I Live here. Moved here with my children a year ago. I wish I had found you all before you came. Iโ€™m the Girl in this town lol.. & Iโ€™ma YouTuber too. Wouldโ€™ve been happy to show yโ€™all around. Lmk when you all will be back. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’•

  13. I love the video I wish it was longer during the slave houses and showing the various vendor's work. I feel like the guy who was doing sand art went viral a while back on Instagram. But I get it because just watching and thinking about it myself I felt heavy. I could not imagine being kidnapped, physically/mentally/emotionally/spiritually harmed and then forced on a boat for months chained up not knowing where you are going. Then dropped off in a scary place, forced to learn a new language and erase your identity doing forced labor to make others rich.
