Biden voted for a 1993 provision that deemed homosexuality incompatible with military life, thereby banning gays from serving in the armed forces. In 1996, he voted for the Defense of Marriage Act, which prohibited the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages, thereby barring individuals in such marriages from equal protection under federal law and allowing states to do the same.
“I do not buy the concept, popular in the ’60s, which said, ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race,’ ” Biden told a Delaware-based weekly newspaper in 1975. “I don’t buy that.”

I see the same as a trump rally with out violence. Which is sadly a positive. But you shunned them out and ignored the message for press. I want a president that would at least give the opportunity to say their message on the fly and rebute it or accept responsibility in real time. Joe is better than Donald, but we really need someone better.
Trump would've had them thrown out, cowering behind security, degrading them and going into tirades about how amazing he is and how weak everyone else is. This is why I voted for Biden, not because of policies (I disagree with most left wing ideologies), but because he acts like a true leader.

I get that there is a lot of controversy about Israel and Hamas. What Hamas did October 7 is terrible. But Israel’s retaliation is terrible also so they are both wrong. What I don’t understand is why so many in America are upset and vocal about it? Every day we hear about protests over one or the other. It seems people are divided. But what Russia is doing to Ukraine since 2022 is also horrible yet I don’t hear the news stations or people protesting. Why is this? If anything there should be more protest since in 1994, Ukraine agreed to give up their nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances from the United States, Russia, and the United Kingdom to protect them. The fact that Russia is going back on their promise and attacking Ukraine now should be deplored and we should be honoring our promise to help them, but we soon won’t if the Republicans get their way. The fact that Tucker Carlson recently had an interview with Vladimir Putin on his show, only shows have depraved they are. What they are trying to do is give validity to a dictator and pave the way for a future dictator which Is Donald Trump. If Hitler were alive today, I have no doubt that Tucker Carlson and the Maga right wing would embrace him.
