  1. Yall tripping
    She said she waa Black
    Raven said she wasn't AA
Smokey Robinson says the same thing
That he is Black not African American
And a lot of Black's feel the same way
A lot of people who migrated from Africa feel the same way, that Blacks are not African American
I was told by 2 African men, that we need to stop calling ourselves AA
We haven't had any connection with Africa for over 200 -400 yrs

  2. You guys have the balls to do it.. why does Corey holecomb call celebrities that’s doing good in life gay. He once talk about yall mans John at one point in time.

  3. I absolutely agree with Raven. Don't call me no damn African American. I'm an American…period. yes, I'm black, no not African. Do we call whites, European Americans, Greek American, Scottish American…H to the N!

  4. Like Raven, some black Americans negate their Africanity. Are they also acknowledging that their history as the descendants of enslaved Africans started in American slavery?

  5. I think Slink is awesome, and I truly enjoyed him in Black Jesus, but this version of Good Times is a discredit to the original work. This version is the same insult as Norman Lear cutting out Eric Monte's creative contributions and cheating him out the monies that go along with it. For shows such as good times, the jeffersons, etc.

  6. Black satire is better than this. Nobody asked for a satirical Good Times😒
True, we aint our g'parents. But nobody was claiming to be. Like what's this dudes deal??

  7. I sidw eyed Raven since she was saying crazy ish on The View. If you watched her on the View her, "I'm not AA, I'm American " statement isn't surprising. I think folks ran with the narrative that she doesn't want to be black is bc she then followed it up with her statements about her hair and her identifying with everyone else.

  8. Let Raven be. She is obviously holly weird to the max so idk what anyone expected from that girl. She will either get right and repeant from all her foolishness or she wont.

  9. I'm Black American I'm not African we are cousins tho but I find that disrespectful to both us because what do you call Africans that come to America Ain't they African Americans once they get there citizenship us Black people we are born and raised here so we are Americans or Black Americans I don't know no African language all I know is English.

  10. I too tell white people I'm not African American that I am in fact an American. I was born native to this country as were generations of my family before me. I say that because no other race in this nation other than the native American are designated in speaking or paperwork to list the country of genetic disposition before the fact that they are American. I have never filled in an application and seen there be racial asterisk before the American part for the Irish, German, Anglo-Saxon, Asian, Jewish or any other I failed to list but they have to make that distinction with our race, it's preposterous.
