I seriously wish I had never developed a shellfish allergy. That looks so damn delicious.
They are part of the baiyue people thatβs why they swim so well
The original Philippine people are part of the Vietnamese tribes
They are one of the Vietnamese tribes
I very much enjoy your documentary.
FYI, although puffer fish is truly toxic if opened thru the belly. But if you only fillet them without going in the inside cavity, they are perfectly safe and one of the best fish i have ever tasted. In Mazatlan, mexico they have almost fished them to extinction because of how good they are and as far as I know no one had ever even had a toxic reaction. They sell them in the main market, i personally have fished them and fillet them myself as a kid and i am here writing this comment.
Where does all their poop go?
Lmaoβ¦not convinced he likes the food.
The average size fish is getting smaller and smaller Ive noticed over the years. 100 years ago nobody could imagine the vast oceans being fished out. The good news is marine reserves for breeding fish do help if they are enforced.
The men need to keep their shirts on…modesty for everyone. If you belong to the religion of head coverings for women, why are the men so immodest?
thanks for documenting this incredible community and sharing it to the entire world. indigenous peoples in the philippines rarely get recognition and are often looked down on, so it's beautiful to learn their culture through documentaries like this

Wasn't it a problem to film there in Tawi-tawi? The Sulu sea isn't exactly known for its great hospitality towards foreigners.
Interesting to see how the humans treat the animals: dismember them alive, cook them alive. Well, I guess if I had an accident and came unconscious ashore the crabs and seabirds would come and eat me alive, too. Show no mercy, right?

Are there the majority of the comunity of Philippines can speak in english?
You went on this learning expedition, why didn't you learn their language and talk to them how they are comfortable speaking?
Grinning while hacking a creature. Sick.
It only tastes good because of the other ingredients. So just eat the other items with those spices and coconut juice. No need to cause the (obvious) agony of those beings. You can use plant-based food and it works better.
Cruel. Animal use/abuse. Boiling someone alive (or dead) is evil.
underrated channel, i cant believe you didnt get atleast 1M subs by now
Reminds me of Waterworld
Ye need to go to north kerior ha ha and taste the grass soup haha boss lad
Where goes the poopπ
I lived in tiawan for many years and was with a philipina,The tribe peoples of tiawan and many islands ,and probably the so call chineese mainland were interacting so long ago,When you also hear the music eat the foods and see how people live togeather, i see the same human underit all,the made up divisions of country is more in the mind.
Excellent reporting!!
Thanks for your effort of getting to know the Badjao and sharing your experience. Iβm thinking of grass root activism to provide a sanctuary for Badjao people to preserve their way of life, somewhat like the Indian reservation here in the US. They are so a unique people and their way of like is worth preserving and protecting. I hope the Philippines government realize the value of keeping the Badjao society alive and improve their lives instead of trying to make them conform to the rest of the people.
Kudos to you man!! Thanks for Documenting this place π .
I clicked on this video telling myself "if this is drew binsky I'm not watching this crap."

Look like marielasin β¦.
Fantastic coverage of a community and lifestyle that JOE BLOGS would never have dreamed of. Disappointing as to how much modern day plastics are being used! The huge shrimp LOOKS LIKE TO DIE FOR…but seeing again SPRITE used guts me. ENJOY the remainder of your remote, primative but semi modern world.!
13min without a single breath under water……. Sounds so unreal…. π³π³π³π³π³
Do Bajau people in Malaysia and Indonesia speak the same language as Bajau people in the Philippines?
Great video!
Iβm always amazed at people who describe eating fish as having a βfishy flavorββ¦ who would have thought?π
it's happening everywhere; indigenous people are being pushed/forced out of their way-of-life by civilization.
Whelp here comes the Rich privileged left Democrats announcing their water city has too much water. They need Democrats to save them,so send Democrats money. lol A rich white guy comes in the only problem you have here is the climate. lmao The guy was probably like wtf. lol The difference between Democrats and Them. Democrats are Rich, Privileged, Entitled, Controlling, Angry, Power Seeking, Manipulative, Destructive and Hateful. They are Happy, Caring, Strong Supportive Community, Loving Families and Love being Together. What does society need more of?
Fist bump
