Young people/families are moving back into their parent's homes as the only option to mitigate against the cost of living.
Its still less, wait for more, why must we rent our own South Africa, to people that stole land,
Why do they always show Cape Town??? Stick to joburg and east London
Give the numbers then the percentages. Percentages are meaningless.
Who knew that South Africans having less money would lead to South Africans having less money 😂 people can't afford rent these days because it's too EXPENSIVE am sure that a lot of people are living in cottages and moving back in with their parents and now, how people are acting as if this is a surprise is beyond me.
Thank you ANC.
All and Everything is broken.
The money that would previously buy you 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, a double garage and massive garden both sides of your free standing house now buys you a bachelor flat and you live by the board of trustees bs . Screw that
Uncertain times with this broken state
Property in South Africa are way to expensive and also to many people involved in a normal property buying transaction WHY!
As a residential landlord, I can tell you that you need to be very careful when looking at these figures. The only rental market that is doing well is around Cape Town. Everywhere else is doing badly. My Johannesburg portfolio has shown very poor returns for the last five years, with high vacancies in spite of very low or non-existent rent increases.
