Again supernatural, again magic, again wizardry. Surely there is "friendliness" here, and a helper called Sophie, meaning "wisdom".
While it is hard for Christmas adverts to avoid secularity, and maybe it is even better that they do, none of these things are the true meaning or purpose of Christmas…

Best Christmas ad I've seen since the one back in 2009, where the fox scoops the rancid whole raw turkey out of the outside bin that was picked up from Tesco and decides that it was even too rancid for his consumption
better than the anti men garbage that jl poked out this yr i even put a comment and a reply to someone else, a women put a little cry baby and jl ebay highlighted i replied to her comment and she replied no body cares and that was also highlighted – i said jl will care when start loosing money when all the men stop spending there their partners will not be happy at all – i also said i am closing my account i have bucket loads over yrs 2k on a tv in a single purchase and got broke ive had cards and all sorts of other stuff

What I love about all the British Christmas ads is that they don't play traditional carols and they never mention Jesus. Why can't we in the US do that?
Why would I shop at Sainsbury they are now supporting comic reliefmost OAPs I know will never ask for help with food. If you put your prices down everyone would get better food at lower prices. Charity begins at home and that is lacking lately when OAPs cannot even keep warm.

I'm here in the States but am crazy for Britain. What I wondered was how much did Sainsbury's have to pay to Roald Dahl's estate in order to use BFG? This is a great commercial and really puts one in the Christmas mood!
