  1. Hi Nicky, another great video report👍 It was nice to see you impressed by the new Ford Puma-I think it’s the best looking WRC car, it just looks fast standing still😳It would have been fantastic to see you and Colin in this car, you were a brilliant team and I am sure you would have been up there with Loeb, Ogier etc. 😉

  2. Hi Nicky , I run the old John Bloxham Fiat 131 at Goodwood most years. Be nice for you to come up and chat. Rally prep Cornwall look after the car. Love you to come and sign it.

  3. Please keep making content like this as a life long rally fan getting insight from a world rally stalwart is just priceless love this keep up the great work thank you

  4. I really loved this video, it was quite interesting to hear the perspective of somebody from the old days on the new rally cars of today. One interesting comparison would be between the 2017 wrc cars and the new rally 1 cars.

  5. It is true…i was there when Mc Rae and Grist won the safari…it is a sad shadow of itself now. The only true test of man, machine and pure endurance in the WRC was hollowed out by the powers that be.

  6. Brilliant Nicky! You looked a tad concerned inside that car? Understanibly so, considering todays pace of WRC1. Don't you think they have gone too far in WRC1? There would be more manufacturer involvement if it was a bit simpler and less costly – WR2+ type car maybe? Anyhow, very nostalgic also, comparing your win with Colin on the Safari all those years ago. Keep them coming!

  7. I'm loving your content mister Grist! Every video feels like a Christmas present, with anecdotes from the past and your interesting guests. It's something I feel I can't hear enough from. It's like having a door opened into the wonderous world of rallying, both past and present. A world which has stolen my heart ever since visiting a local rally event in the 90s when I was but a tiny lad. The smell, sound, glowing brake disks, dazzling speeds and sliding corners: there is nothing better. Looking forward to your next story, thanks so much!

  8. Still the proud owner of focus Mk1, 1998 year model, and still nothing replaced on the drive train, toughest car ever, and still puts smile on my face driving it on open roads

  9. 100% listening to you Nicky talking about days with Colin and your career in general is so fascinating and knowing you know rallying like you do brings such value to the videos you're creating, Keep doing what you're doing!

  10. I'm loving the videos and hearing the tales from back in the day, from the generation of WRC I watched. There's a video of you and Wilson doing the '90 monte in the sapphire (almost stage by stage), I'd love to hear more about that event, more driver talks like the ones you had with KKK and Howard
