The upper house approved delaying the ratification of the new, legally binding treaty signed with Rwanda last month, by 214 votes to 171.

  1. HOW CAN A PERSON LIKE OUR PRIME MINISTER BE SO STUBBORN OVER RWANDA EVERYONE HAS TOLD THE CLOWN IT IS A NOGO BUT NOT OUR PMS ALL I ASK IS HOW VOTED FOR THIS CLOWN VOTE FOE REFORMUK🤣

  2. Sunak knows the bill will fail , it looks like he is doing something about it.
This country is RIDICULOUS, it's on a road to self-destruction, and it's definitely going to go like Sweden, but it's going to be far far worse .
This migrants situation should have been stopped years ago.
Britain is such a STUPID country, let's anyone in.

  3. My worry is that people will see this as a further reason to disband the House of Lords rather reform it. I do not want another batch of elections and politicians all of whom will want full-time salaries and pensions. They will also be political as we have with the current HOL. Might I suggest curtailing the numbers and limiting political appointments to a handful with the majority selected by an independent panel based on their contribution to the UK…..and I do not mean being a famous footballer.

  4. There are different places they can be sent other than Rwanda. This is a pantomime while they bring in as many as they decide they want to bring in. When they have had enough someone will save the day. More people = more slaves. How many times more people came in legally? Surely that number can be worked on but no, stop the boats is the war cry of the current bullshitter in charge.

  5. Take them back safely the French coast would solve it totally.

Rushi needs to just tell Macron "we are taking them back to your coast from where they came"

It would be over in 2 weeks and saving the tax payer millions.

He hasn't got the guts to do it.

He claims to have stpped some on the boats…look at the weather!

No wonder they are not coming…nothing to do with Rishi!😂

  6. This RWANDA bill is ANOTHER Palestine in the making!

Find lots and lots of "unwanted" people and "resettle" them in a Country that doesn't want them.
    What could go WRONG?

Off the hands of the British and the problems are passed on to somewhere else. Job done!

ONLY what caused the problem in the first place?

How come there are so much many people coming now and here? Fix the problem not the symptoms.

  7. So are the Lords the Enemies of the People now ?, or are they the anti growth alliance, hard to keep up with the Brexiteers pyschodramas. Luckily the country is in tip top shape, and Brexit has only cost £140 Billion so far, so we can afford to waste lots of time on this nonsense

  8. Great this bill should be scrapped. It is costing far too much money for a start and will not work. Rwanda has already been deemed unsafe by the courts so for the government to just introduce this bill calling it safe does not make it so. This government are an absolute disgrace and they are racist.

  9. We all know this plan will not work , government just saying to the people we our trying to sort it , all a show they could send back illegals straight away if they gave this country what we voted for a full brexit which they did not do , if they had we would of been out of all Treaty that stop the uk from deporting anyone coming here illegally, EUHR is one but for some reason this unelected p.m won't do it.
Vote Reform lets take our country back before its too late.

  10. Sunak hi still thinking like those Asian days dictator. And when it came to immigration 80% are Indian and Pakistani and those two type off people they immigrants from their country legally but every step of their journey is fake from scratch to almost end they deceive the system.

  11. Could build a UK Asylum Assessment Centre in France, minimise boat crossings and any UK accommodation costs. Alternatively, could spend £400million over a few years that allows Rwanda to send uncapped numbers of people to the UK. Possibly allows us to send a couple of hundred people the other way. The UK has to pay accommodation costs in Rwanda. The trafficked wont be aware of Rwanda and the traffickers won't care. Appreciate some will have been wound up and just "want Rwanda" but purely logically, why is Rwanda worth pursuing?

  12. The Members of Parliament surely have more important tasks to fulfill for the country rather than discussing Rwanda once again, which seems like a dead issue. It is a waste of time and money. I work diligently for 60-70 hours per week just to meet the expensive budget and cope with the rising prices. They are giving away billions to Ukraine and Israel, showing their loyalty, probably due to the generous donation from Israel. It feels like they are selling our country to Israel and giving away all our wealth. What about our democracy and British values? Every day, they bring up something about Islam, making it big news to divert attention from their criminal acts and facts related to their Israeli brothers.
