The yet to be released song is a sincere tribute to the Lord, reflecting Ruth’s heartfelt appreciation for His constant presence, unwavering support, and generous blessings that have shaped her journey.

According to her, “Thank You Lord” was born out of a place of deep appreciation for God’s faithfulness, not only in her life but also in the lives of those around her.

“It’s out of place of Gratitude to the Lord for all He’s done and all He’s yet to do,” she told Graphic Showbiz.

The track was produced by Soundz Kitchen Studios and recorded live at Ruth’s annual “Liquid Prayers 2023” programme, held at PIWC Accra. The song features the powerful vocals of Efe Grace, another talented gospel ministrel.

The message behind “Thank You Lord” is rooted in I Chronicles 16:34, which says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.” This scripture serves as a reminder to always express gratitude to God, no matter what we’re going through.

“Thank You Lord” is set to be officially released on Tuesday, August 13, and is expected to inspire listeners to cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving and praise after Mehu Yesu earlier this year.

The old student of Professional Institute of Journalism and University College of Management Studies is also promoting her new Covered album which has songs such as Matchless Father, Same Old God ft Minister Igwe, My Hope, Me Gye Nyame De, Come Reign, Let’s Praise, Awurade Y3, You Reign, and Me Ndwom.
