I don't want to break your narrative, but Russia is doing very well right now. Russia today is like the US in the 1950's and 1960's. Life is really good for an average citizen. Zero unemployment. Absolute safety. Low cost of living. Free and reliable medical services. A lot of free perks for the residents. No homeless people. 85% of the population own their residence. Compare it to life in any Western country or India or China for example and right your comment down below.

Very simple fact about Russian economy, there are some European countries who are still trading with Russia despite what appears on surface. Also, Russia has managed to find bigger market for their trades, this includes China, Middle East, Africa, & South America. Russians sacrifices some little money to secure a life-long market for them. Americans & Europeans have no resources to compete with Russia. Whoever thinks that USA outperforms Russia in some fields, they are totally wrong. In fact, Russia is far away powerful than America and Europe together.
