  1. The only thing I have an issue with is the nuclear energy. I believe that at this point in the technological advancment of the world there are better, 100% clean energy sources that should be adopted by developing countries. This will build these countries cleanly and beautifully from the jump and skip the failures and bad choices of past developed countries. Just because they are in talks and some business with Russia does not mean they need to adopt their systems fully. Ppl like Mehran Tavakoli Kesh could make clean energy a reality for Burkina Faso.

  2. I am beginning to see another side of Russia . The west had told scary and mean stories of Russia. I now know it is the other way round. I hope this Respect they have for Africa continues and that Africa will utilise this relationship to progress towards self sufficiency.

  3. The Russians really do offer good support to their "allies". Thank you Russia and President Putin.

Before President Ibrahim Traore became president, Burkina Faso was in the "wilderness". It was just another West African country "going nowhere" and wholly dependent on foreign "aid".

There was the late Thomas Sankara who disrupted the "status quo" – however his rule of enlightenment was brought to a sudden end by betrayal from a fellow Burkinabe (Blaise Compaore) that was part of a foreign plot for "regime change".
