You said 46 ounces? I hope not, Rugers website says 36 ounces for the blued version. Is the stainless that much heavier?

.357 magnum and .44 magnum, hand load magnum cases only to avoid making rings in the cylinder and less types of brass, shoot for pennies, have fun !

That's a flat top blackhawk which means it's the original .357 frame size. The regular blackhawks are on a larger 44 mag size frame and the sights are protected because its not flat on top. I have the same gun you have and love it. I do not like the bulky 44 mag size frame of the standard blackhawk.
