  1. Kenyans love shortcuts , handouts and bribery, kenyans cares little about developments, true William Ruto's approach is different, i still believe in him until the time comes. Ragathi Gachagua is very loyal and hardworking man loyal to the president, the people of mount kenya want self-centered and stubborn leader who will push the president to deliver their unrealistic interests.

  2. Uhuru alicontrol mlima through intimidation sawa so mkiongea kuhusu mlima pia mkumbuke kuhusu umoja wa mlima kuhusu business community kufill kufinyiliwa it's because Kuna wenye wamezoeya kufanya biashara haramu na kwa hii serikali ningumu ndio Wana Seema nikugumu

  3. Unite for what, to support corrupt leaders. Why can't leaders unite and say no to corruption, debt and Taxes. The people are suffering. Just do your job and people will naturally support you.

  4. 1O MPs elected through Jubilee, and close to 1million voted Azimio, representing about 20% of Mt Kenya votes. Many more didn't even vote. Ukweli as of today many have even moved to be anti government due to taxes, corruption, inflation, high cost of living and the failing economy. The region is devided between the leaders and the people who feel neglected. Not sure who they will support anymore

  5. Great feature by Ibrahim Karanja. Keep it up NTV.
Central kenya is comprised of Great leaders and indeed the unity and oath of secrecy can be best practiced by this region to the fault. However, that known fact is slowly fading with so many competing personal interests killing it.
Since RigG came to the current regime as DP, falling out with Uhuru and his style of leadership have all contributed to the decline of central unity. His tongue hasn't done him any better but devastating effect to that same unity they are trying to bring back. That's my view from outside.
The other key aspect on the elusive unity is the fact that individuals are pronouncing themselves than waiting to earn the mantle as spokesman/leader. To be a leader, you first have to earn it on merit and act or behave as a unifying factor in the first place. Being at a privileged position is not an automatic factor to regional leadership but "you must know them by their acts" principle then ofcourse be appointed/elected to the same.
Another devastating cause of the elusive unity is the aspect of Kikuyus assuming that Embu and Meru do not count in that equilibrium or that the two communities can't produce a leader. Big error of judgement there. For central to thrive as a block, an all-inclusive balance must be embraced.
Lastly, the big divide between Jubilee and UDA party royalists is the major undoing that coming to 2027, if the region finds themselves in that quagmire, that clamour for unity shall be lost to oblivion, big time even as Kahiga puts that strong partying shot with a glimpse of hope. The region might even lose the DP slot if the status quo remains.
Forgiving and forgetting the past, getting Uhuru back to the fold and ganging together in one party like, say, Jubilee will be a sure game-changer to Central unity of purpose. Other than that, let us wait and see.
I wish our brothers well in their future pursuit to political meaning.

Personal interests and party royalistcim is causing the shift and if not careful, the gap will grow wider than drawing closer.
At the Lucy funeral for instance, it looks like the DP made sure Uhuru face-to-face encounter doesn't happen but carefully making a conciliatory statement to hoodwink the public. Just a personal view.
On Mt Kenya, we have very sharp and eloquent minds that spoke over 55% facts and only three (Ktn expose tonight) spoke over 85% truth with authenticity-WaMuchomba, Nyeri and Muranga governor with the former and later scoring 95%. Kahiga talks a lot of sense but his pride kind of sways him off the hook.
Kikuyu leaders can be very good and smart in calculations from samani but personal interests often details few to oblivion. If the current DP can tame his careless and often superiority complex shenanigans, he can be a very good uniting factor to some degree, but despising others thinking or assuming he knows it all, is his major undoing.
Another challenge that is killing the central kenya unity is the fact that the larger Kikuyu community, ignores the a Meru and Embu leaders in their quest for power even as we all know that the later two have very competent leaders that given a chance they can do even better than the few that chestthumb within the former backyard. Sad indeed.
