Sometimes I wonder why we keep hurting ourselves and keep blaming the government for the hurts we invoked on ourselves. I am not saying the government do not have their own share of the blame on the collapse buildings but we should all know that most of the time, we are the advocate of our own troubles.
We should know that government is not the builder of these buildings but some quack greedy hungry engineers that probably charged their clients for standard building materials but ended up using sub standard materials (at times, a weak iron rod that was excavated from another collapsed building) and some greedy house owners that would rather insist that their engineers use building materials that is meant for a 2 storey building for a 4 storey building in other to get more income on lets or lease. Also, the government officials that asked and collected bribe to cover up building irregularities discovered at the course of their inspection.
This is not just about APC, AAC or PDP, it is about ourselves revolving in heart to the right thing and be safety conscious. Knowing fully well that no government would live in a building.
To be honest Buhari is bad market to Nigeria nothing good has happened to Nigeria since he was elected as a president I don’t know if it is natural or negligent, selfishness, ignorance old age, maybe all of , alhamdulilah no one injured
