My father was Ghanaian and the last time I was there was in 2011 for his funeral. This vlog is taking me back and I can't wait to visit Ghana again one day. It was the friendliest country I've visited. Ghanaians are kind and calm. Your guide was super cool and calm.

As a single female I am trying to figure out the best way to plan a trip TO GHANA that will be safe for me. Any suggestions on finding a reliable native to show me around and not take advantage of me? I strongly feel a man visiting by himself is way different than a woman traveling alone.

Before to say it is safe to make a video in Ghana, try to go to Makola market as a white man and see what happens, they dont like at all to be euphemistic.
My own experience in Ghana in the end was very nice, I stayed in Accra, but also Takoradi and Tamalé, great frienships, great people but it is not so funny everywhere.
