As a MIL to four, I decided long ago never to express an opinion in their relationships. I had a monster in law of my very own 😳and my own mother was in fact a monster in law not only to my husband but also to my siblings’ spouses. She was a classic narcissist and love bombed all of her son/daughters in law until she “went off them”. I find it best to keep my mouth firmly shut and let my adult children sort stuff out for themselves as my only wish to remain good friends with my lovely children which I have. There is no point expressing an opinion as “a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still” plus you look like the baddie and everything works itself out in the end. It’s called growing up and character building.
Char!otte! I am listening to this at work and laughed out loud with your flashback about guessing what happens next. I am having so much fun listening to all thesestories and your comments!
That's insane for bouquets. I design according to the persons individual desires. And usually do it as a gift.
hi Im a big fan!!! I love your vids!❤
So the woman whose. husband said that he wasn't sure about her doesn't make sense. She didn't tell anyone she was leaving. And went to a friend's house. Why wasnt the friend at the wedding?
The only thing the first bride could have done was to let at least once person know where she was – unless she did by staying at a friend’s place. Just so people didn’t think she’d been kidnapped or something! Other than that, NTA at all
Maybe its just me, but I think I would have walked my happy azz out to the reception with his phone in hand, grabbed the mic and said “storrryyyy timmmeee” and started ready the texts 😅
Charlotte, you are absolutely GLOWING!!
And while you're staying with your friend to sort out your feelings, your husband is hanging out with his girlfriend. Divorce!
for the mother thrown into the fountain – the mother can’t press charges. the MOH stated that the mother in law pushed them to get into the venue first – meaning she put hands on her first. IMO that’s just self defense. Not her fault the fountain just so HAPPENED to be there
Why do people spend so much on a wedding when that money could go toward a down payment on a house? It's just a big show for your family and friends.
16:53 the mil pushed first no charges
The MIL pushed the Best friend first. Self defense
Charlotte, LOVE your content. Am in Montreal, Quebec, so very close to Ontario $ price point. 20k for wedding flowers does NOT resonate with reg folk. Really not. Love that business is serving you well, but commentary in that $ bracket is unrelatable for most. I wish you the best wedding day and that all works in your best plan.
hi
According to op, she was pushed by the mil first that could be an attack, what op did was self defence
Michal needs to move to Utah and find some sister wives who'd be into what he wants. Don't trick women who want monogamy into this crap! What a P.O.S.
OMG! The poor bride who overheard her new husband saying he didn't love her and then finding the texts from the other woman! Oh, honey! I would've taken a picture of them, or better yet, Screenshot them and texted them to myself from his phone, and then mass texted them to EVERYONE at my wedding!! And screw her family for telling her she overreacted! So they want her to stay with a lying cheater who doesn't even love her? What kind of person who supposedly loves you would want you to stay with someone like that?
I MIGHT be willing to try to work it out IF the man actually loved me. But he flat out said he didn't even love her! That's just adding insult to injury! If he doesn't love her, it WILL happen again! You can't make someone love you and if it hasn't happened before now, it's not going to!
Keep in mind the 50% divorce rate involves all marriages, not just first ones. So that includes the people who have gone through 3+ marriages. The rate for first marriages is lower.
Okay even if he was just saying the most awful thing he can say out of fear like naming it.. The fact that they had talked about your wedding and getting together afterwards is all you need.
I would love to hear a story where the bridal party knows the MIL will wear white to try and out shine the bride so they decided to ask multiple people to wear white to the wedding with the bride not wearing white just to have the satisfaction of ruining the MIL plans by out smarting her 😂😂
I had two maid of honor at my wedding and no bridesmaids. I told them that they were the enforcers and allowed to throw people out, keep the peace as well supply me with tissues when my husband’s vows made me cry from happiness.
The water ⛲ fountain one- did everyone miss that the MIL shoved MOH 1st? MOH pushed back in self defense. To MIL: if you don't start nothing, there won't be nothing 👍🏻🙆🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️
OMG. Today I'm watching your channel on YouTube, since I usually watch it on FB. It's a lot more funny here. That "we move in the shadows" thing was one of the best things I've seen ever. I'm on that club, definitely
The first one did create a scene, she just wasn’t there for it. Left everyone including her family worrying about her overnight. How is that being non dramatic and poised?
Lmao i wonder if Charlotte's husband wonder what the hell is going on. 😂😂😂
