  1. F BOMBS Are they doing this only before they pray. A preacher that has worked with the team was not happy with its effect on youngsters.
e felt it was hypogritical to thank the father then say we must go and f him and then f him. in this interview Damian use swear words throughout. Rugby was rumoured to be a game played by gentleman??

  2. deAllende reckonz an Farrell, Englishman with Irish heritage can't motivate the Irish team, which gives Rassie an advantage, YET SA HAVENT BEATEN IRELAND IN 8 YEARS?!
    Racist b.s.
Allende not the sharpest tool but disappointed Jim ran with it so easily, expected more from such a quality bloke.
    Allende talked some serious shyte.

  3. As a diehard Bok fan I love that humility is the number 1 quality demanded of any Springbok player, and you only stay in the team if you've got it. I wish a lot of our fans had it, but hey that comes with winning WCs and getting new fans onto the hype train.
Here's to hoping the humility passes from the players onto the average everyday S African.
And Big Jim – fantastic content man!

  4. Really enjoy Damian’s openness and candour. Very interesting that Duane feels ill discipline off the field may creep into the performance on it. Great chat Jim!

  5. Fighting words from Damian. "War " against the Irish rugby team.
If anyone knows the irish and their History. They are from a small country and have always had to fight above their weight. I think we like it. It's in our DNA. Even in Rugby, look were we are with the small amount of players. We are called the Fighting Irish for a reason. Can't weight for this war and then the pints and laughs afterwards. Bring it on…

  6. If Duane tells you to clean up, just do it bro, you don't want problems with that guy lol. I think what one can pick up from hearing about Rassie is that he is completely transparent within the team. A clear tactic to show ALL involved with the team that NOBODY is bigger than the team. Lovely interview Big Jim. Damian was so honest, love it bru.

  7. I love the story about the 400s being dropped on the guys as they were just getting a bit slapgat.. what is seldom mentioned is the man management psychology that both Rassie and Jaque applied to their "troops". straight from their SADF experience. Damien is of a different generation but if he were of my age he would have recognised that move straight from a generation of boys in browns. " Julle rowers dink dis 'n holiday kamp? Nou gaan julle kak".
