Musk supposedly also met with leaders from Lesotho and Namibia (I think it is those two countries) during the same trip to New York. Perhaps he has a goal to meet with every country in the world's leader and he had an opportunity to tick off a few on the list in one New York visit? He has just had a romantic dinner with the Italian leader … no pretence of imaginary business deals there!
The meeting with Ramaphosa and entourage was affable and a great photo op, but nothing concrete came out of it in terms of business.
