  1. This comment section just a bunch of white liberals lining up to be replaced wtf wrong with yall? You use to keep my brothas as slaves and now yall simpin for your own history getting sht on like that makes it better lmaoooo grow uppppp this is bad for whites and blacks six years ago and moreso now. This is wrongggg asff and it is just disgusting tokenism. This actress was a god awful choice yall white liberals are hilarious

  2. I’m sorry but the casting is really distracting to me. Now, if it were set in 1400’s Africa or modern day, it wouldn’t bother me. But here? It’s just making me ask so many questions.

  3. If you're looking for historical accuracy instead of BBC woke delusional madness then having this (I'm sure very nice) black lady in a Shakespearian role is as crazy as having a blonde white woman staring as a Zulu princess. Insulting at the very least .

  4. Some comments are really interesting. Margeret of anjou was real human being and she was white, well you can cry in the corner. If the story was about a african queen and white woman played it, you would say that that was racist well… then what is the difference?

  5. So Margaret was played by a black woman. Not really sure what the big deal is. I woke up this morning and the sky still hasn’t fallen in. And the little mermaid is still doing very well at the box office. This comment section must be full of old timers.

  6. First of all, she's a friggin horrible actress. Second, Queen Margaret of England was White so there's goes any semblance of historical accuracy and screws up the entire family line. But let's just rewrite White heritage, ancestry and history for the sake of 'equity'. Does everyone else notice how much this is happening today?? From this Queen Margarete AND Queen Anne Boleyn to Achilles, Joan of Arc, Julius Caesar, etc to even our Greek and Norse Gods like Zues and Odin. It's almost like the commies behind this racist crap intentionally wanna tell our kids that they have no heritage, ancestry or history to be proud of. Because a people without a past have no future.

  7. I despise the weakness of kings, in that they allow good men to be treated like beasts, by other beasts, because they have no presence to interfere. This is the reason weak kings must be ruined and replaced.

  8. Talk about setting up a situation were your prey falls neatly into the trap and you get to play the surprised innocent. Margaret of Anjou wanted to solidify her position by getting rid of the Duke and Duchess who opposed her. Letting the fan fall was an obvious device which the Duchess should have ignored. You walk up with a faint smile, bob a correct curtsey to The Queen and turn the situation around on her by asking "Shall I pick up your fan Mam?" Once the assent is given you bend over quickly and pick it up but do not return it. Instead, shake it vigorously and exclaim how it's been on the dirty floor and offer her your own fan or time to get another. The ball is then in her court and the device is useless. Alas, that is not how this play was written.
