  1. I'm somebody who has nearly 5-7 years of public speaking, been doing the gig since I was a kid and honestly, this made me realise that I have a lot to catch up on when it comes to formal speeches. I find myself leaning towards a more informal, a rather casual tone when it comes to speaking, even when the setting is a formal one. I had to watch this video because it was listed in my class activities, but this ended up being an eye-opener for me! Thanks for the incredible video!

  2. In only fifteen seconds I decided that you have no professional speaking skills to share with anyone. Are you totally blind to how distracting your constant hand and arm waving is? You should get some professional training yourself before holding yourself out as a coach, unless showing people what not to do is something you think you could sell.

  3. I kind of disagree with the hands part, I know sometimes hands can bother, especially when standing in front of an audience, but all that flourishing with your hands along with every single thing you say, also makes me feel you don't know what to do with them

  4. I totally agree with all the points you mentioned! My biggest weakness has always been maintaining a posture ! but I'm improving on this now .The most important thing for me having the knowledge ( the content ) of what you intend to deliver , mastering the language and finally focusing on your physical appearance

  5. i physically cannot talk to people without rambling on about random stuff, pausing mid sentence, coldly glare at them, or just straight up mess up my words and mix them together, so I'm hoping this will help in some way, thank you !!

  6. Hello how is everything, for me it would be too soft and fillers. I've always talked too soft I guess the fear of speaking up makes me nervous, and I start saying um a lot. This video defiantly will help. Do you have any pointers you can give me on not having to many fillers, and speaking up so I can be heard? I really appreciate it.

  7. Stance. Eye contact. Starting body conclusion. But not much about gestures that could have been included with the fidgeting??? Public speaking fear#1. I got my start at the kingdom hall. I have allso gone to toastmasters for 6 months just before covid. Would love to be a stand up comedian!

  8. The problem with me is that I don’t usually organize my speech so I always end up going off the rails. Another thing is that I speak in monotone. My brother told me that I talk in monotone some time ago and that’s when I realized that I DO talk like that and now I’m kinda self-conscious of it🥲
