Scores of families in kwa Munyeti farm in Mavoko area of Athi river have been rendered homeless after their homes were demolished by presumed hired goons backed by a contingent of armed police officers.

  1. Mavoko, Machakos has always been the worst when it comes to land and even building on the land. The county leadership has always been part of the mess. Generally Machakos, one can but land and be hindered to built. Its like a cartel, they also some issues with title deeds. Tbe only safe area to buy would be Konza city but the cartel in county leadership might grab it.
