We will be happy to hear your thoughts
  1. You are a very disingeneous and mold infested minded person .. You are tslking trash . …IGBO APOSTLE . Continue in your myopic , idiosyncratic arguments.

  2. Generally Ibos are very good and straight forward people. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️the problem na the Biafra wings…. who do not to let us move on as Nigeria

  3. It is in their blood not to be appreciative. You did not vote for him because of your premodial sentiments and now you are making empty noise

  4. During Obasanjo first term as president, he put Ibos in juicy positions. That was when Okonjo Iweala, Soludo, Ekwekesili (that is now running her mouth anyhow) came to limelight. He never considered Yorubas for any tangible post. And the Yorubas never complain because, they did not vote for him. Now Ibos did not vote for Tinubu, but the man is still liberal towards them in his appointment. But they are still crying fowl. They want to reap where they did not sow, more than those that sow (entitlement and greed) They always believe that other tribes are fool, and they are the smart one. You better listen to Soludo, Umahi etc. These are the few wise one among you, they are realist, and know where the pendulum will swing to. And not your Obi (importer & exporter) that will never take you anywhere politically in Nigeria. Even though, I know you will never yield to the wise counsel.³

  5. Ohanaeze Ndigbo applauds Buhari over Second Niger Bridge
    By Lawrence Njoku, Enugu
    17 December 2022

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for keeping to his promise on the completion of the Second Niger Bridge before the expiration of his tenure.
In a statement yesterday, Ohanaeze Ndigbo said the Second Niger Bridge is a key national infrastructure with immense socio-economic benefits not only for the contiguous states but also for the entire nation.

The group, in the statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Alexander Ogbonnia, recalled that the clamour for a Second Niger bridge became necessary shortly after the Nigerian Civil War.

“The Second Niger Bridge has been a major concern to the Igbo for over 50 years because of two major reasons; apart from the traffic logjam on top of the bridge, the greatest fear was that the bridge had evidence of cracks such that the stress of weights on the bridge could collapse all the vehicles and their contents into the River Niger with untold consequences.

He recalled that several administrations had used the Second Niger Bridge as bait on the Igbo, especially during political campaigns.

“When President Buhari promised that he will complete the Second Niger Bridge, not many believed, especially when he could not conceal his lopsided political appointments and other resource allocations against the South East,” he said.

He disclosed that the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prof. George Obiozor, in company of several All Progressives Congress (APC) government officials had on February 6, 2021, visited the site wherein he enthused that the ‘people of the Southeast would continue to be grateful to the present Federal Government for hearkening to the needs of the Ndigbo.’

“And now, we are almost there. Surely, President Buhari did not start the work on the bridge, but in a maladjusted society where the abandoned projects far outnumber the completed ones, to deliver a vital infrastructure that should have been taken for granted attracts immense jubilation amongst the Igbo,” he said.

  6. …."The new infrastructure will increase transmission grid capacity all the way to Enugu, and provide transmission capacity for power plants along the lines. The project had been stalled for about two years prior to that, due to community and court issues.

One of the community issues arose in a community in Oronta in Abia State, which went to court to stop work on the section that passed through their territory. The Government in power at the time decided to engage the community in a court battle, which resulted in two years of delay. Upon assuming office, the Buhari Government changed the approach, choosing instead to focus on engage with the community’s leaders, to resolve the situation. The Government then engaged the services of a consultant, Amanze Uchegbulam, who helped bring the Eze of Oronta and other leaders to the negotiating table. Negotiations were successfully concluded with the signing of terms of settlement, which included taking the case out of court. Engineers were able to return to site, and the project was completed and commissioned in November 2016.

The Coastal Rail will pass through the Southeast (connections to Aba and Onitsha), and inclusion of Counterpart funding for the project in the 2017 and 2018 Budgets.

    13. The Ariaria Market Power Project — in progress.
The Federal Government Nigeria (FGN) is working to ensure that the Ariaria International Market in Aba, Abia State, enjoys round-the-clock electricity. To that end, the Energizing Economies Programme of the Buhari Administration has commenced construction of a 5MW Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered Independent Power Plant (IPP) to serve the market.

The Ariaria International Market is one of the most important markets in Nigeria. But its occupants are held back by a dysfunctional electricity situation. Consequently, a large number of shops across the market are
    powered by generators.

The primary uses of electricity in the market are lighting and cooling. With adequate power supply traders will be able to enjoy reduced operating costs (with attendant impact on profits), and will be able to sell perishable goods.

The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) visited the Market to carry out a baseline study and survey, as well as an Energy Audit, to collect the data necessary to determine the feasibility of this project. For the Energy Audit, a total of 31,993 unique shops were identified in the market. Data was obtained from 26,750 of those shops. 8,150 shops of the 26,750 shops (i.e. 30.4%) surveyed are currently using electricity; the remaining 70% are not using any power at all.

The power requirements of the that 30% of the market currently using electricity were shown to be 2.06MW; 46.6% of that is required for lighting and another 41.7% for cooling. The energy audit determined that in order to power the entire market area, i.e. both the shops currently using electricity and the ones not using electricity, a plant size of about 6.6MW would be required.

Based on this, the REA’s proposal is to install, in a first-phase intervention, a 5MW Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Power Plant to meet the market’s current and forecast demand. Construction has commenced on this plant.

Meanwhile, a pilot project involving the supply of electricity to parts of the market using a containerized CNG generator kicked off in 2017.

PRESIDENT BUHARI: SOUTHEAST WILL BENEFIT MORE FROM ROAD, COASTAL RAIL PROJECTS

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday assured stakeholders from the South East that the region will benefit more from roads and coastal rail projects, which are of critical importance to the economy.

Speaking at an audience with leaders from the region led by the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, the President declared that 2nd Niger Bridge, the East-West Road and the Coastal rail project, are receiving utmost attention from his administration.

The President said counterpart funding from the Chinese government would substantially fund these projects, which when completed will improve the welfare, well-being and economy of the people in the region.

“I know the Chinese are very competent in handling such projects and we will ensure that we get the money for the projects to take off.

“I thank you for articulating your demands and I want to assure that we are doing our best for the country. If we can stop people from stealing, then there will be more resources to put into projects that will create employment for Nigerians,’’ the President said.

Responding to allegations of under-representation of Igbos in his government, the President said: “I gave south-east four substantive ministers in the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Investment, Science and Technology and Labour.

“Seven states in the North got Ministers of State and of the two Ministries headed by your sons, I cannot take any decision on foreign policy and investments without their input,’’ he said.

The President also promised the leaders, comprising governors and ministers from the region, the President of Ohaneze, Chief Nnia Nwodo and representatives from the National Assembly, that he will visit states in the zone soon.

“I want to assure you that I came into government with a clear conscience and I will also leave with a clear conscience,’’ he said.

Earlier, the President of Ohaneze, while articulating the demands of the zone to the President highlighted the issue of state creation, restructuring, federal projects in the South East namely Enugu-Onitsha road, Enugu-Port Harcourt road and Aba-Ikot-Ekpene road, among others.

Nwodo also demanded urgent presidential interventions on the Enugu Airport, reticulation of the gas-pipelines in the South East and the standard gauge plan for railway construction.

Commending the President’s remarkable achievements on security and the fight against corruption, Nwodo declared: “we are ready to work with you. We are determined to work with you. We know you are a decisive leader and we know God will continue to give you the wisdom to govern Nigeria.’’

Also speaking, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State expressed satisfaction on the outcome of their discussions with the President on critical issues and topics affecting the region.

“You have no hatred for any state. You have treated all states with equality. What one state gets in the north, the other gets in the south,’’ the governor said, referring to budget support facility and stabilisation fund released to states and local governments since the inception of the administration.

  7. Soludo you can kiss TINUBU forgery, I legitimate fake ass, be his slave. with all ur gestures, if you run for president u will not get half of what PETER OBI got. Ur illicit solicitation means nothing, you can't compare urself with PETER OBI the man majority Nigerians wants for new Nigeria.

  8. Where were you during Jonathan's era? Despite the huge numbers of votes former president Jonathan got from south west, SW did not get any position from 1-10 in this country then. Yoruba with 6 states is far more than igbo with 5 states interm of population. Do you want to switch the ministers in the SW to SE? Or are the ministers in the north and SW not Nigerians or are they not competent enough to be ministers? I know you people can even ask the president and the vice president to relinquish the positions for your people to occupy….

  9. This guy is not only a foolish man but he is completely delusional. Why would anyone who has not sowed into a project or process would expect to reap from where he or she has not sowed?

  10. You guys just brought an ignorant ethnocentric Dr to argue a useless point about imaginary marginalisation.

  11. In as much as I love TVC. Why are having this discussion? I am with the governor. The President has done well for the South south and South East! In fact I am proud of our President.

  12. Excuse me sir you people have to change your ways!! They have to vote for other party as well. Even in America they give people who voted for them a job. The problem with the Igbos they lie!! You are ungreatful with the fact what they allow you people to do all the stuff you people are doing in Lagos!! How many Yorubas are in your cabinet in lgbo

  13. Ibos are just too tribalistic

  14. To them nobody should have the mind of his own, it must be their own mind and anything contrary to that, curses will start, may the Lord heal them

  15. The guy na efulefu ooo!

  16. He is a disgrace and professor of fools.

  17. Nobody really cares about whoever you voted for, but even the level of your hatred is the issue and it's high to heaven, and no other tribe in this country ever display 2% of your hated campaign against Tinubu, after the man succeeded the arrow of your hatred you now want the biggest chunk to be drop on your table, if it happens that way I bet it that you will never change from your usual hatred tradition, i know that not all of you, but especially the majority of your young ones need spiritual heart surgery

  18. Obaseki have no forgiveness, the man will not slow down until he makes sure that deputy Phillips pay for his supposed wrong doings

  19. They did not vote for him based on sentiment not because of trust, I wonder why you people always like to reap where you're did not sow? You people can keep your votes to yourself not problem about that, you keep getting angry over everything yet you love only yourself and not any other tribes but want everyone to be kneeling down before you, your children keep cursing everyone around the internet thinking they can use that to intimidate anyone, honestly you people are too self centered

  20. If I was Tinubu, I would task the minister of works to concentrate on the roads in the eastern part of the country first and see the outcome.😂

  21. Ambrose shut up your dirty mouth, you are a big fool.Tinubu did not create any state yet and his government is still fresh

  27. The igbos should go and ask atiku and pdp to give them all the juicy positions 😏

  28. Do we really need to discuss a man that bribbed and robbed his way to Aso-rock and recently bought the judges over?

  29. Soludo is totally losing his senses and negotiating his birth-right

  30. Why bring this topic up? A man you rejected during the election, and you want to have the same number of ministerial seats as regions that voted for him.
