We will be happy to hear your thoughts
  1. ‏When I see the way pottery is made, I feel nostalgic! As if the hands want to merge with it.

    God said in the book

“He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.”

“And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration.

So the angels prostrated – all of them entirely,”

    Quran

There is a nice piece of information: Adam, peace be upon him, was black, like our brothers in Central Africa, which is the meaning of his name in Arabic, Adam, which means very black.

‏The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said

‏OH people, your Lord is One! Know that there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab, or of a white over a black or of a black over a white, except through devotion to Allah,”

    And he said:

“All of the people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust.”

  2. Just found Sugar Maples new schedule for this summer. Love your work and look forward to seeing you in Big hollow! Yay!!

  3. Is it possible to write the method of making clay. And what materials do you add to it?

  4. Osa, I really enjoyed your video especially your explanation of the multicultural nature of your work. Your work is lovely. thanks.

  5. Osa, your work is amazing! We met at the Cake Shop in NY in 2009. You and Brontez were playing that night. Do you have copies of SS for sale? I want to read about your trips to Africa. Have you done zine about pottery?
