  1. If every male accept one was killed on this earth, one would be enough, to keep the population growing, the rest are not needed. Matriarch rule would far surpass the greatness of any patriarchal society. There would peace, unity, and harmony. Women are not naturally drawn to disharmony, war, killing. I would not even be surprised if meat eating would no longer be practiced.

  2. Let me add some maturity to this conversation. Polygamy was allowed by some countries after wars killed most of the countrymen and their wives were left to raise children alone. It was used to keep the women from turning to prostitution or homosexuality (a sin God considered to be greater). A man who was wealthy would marry his brothers wife so the family would be respected and the children would be raised properly in the home. Fast forward to 2018…when black men find themselves in situations they cannot resolve they bring the black woman into the equation. Instead of you guys asking for our help you drag us into the middle of some mess. It’s obvious you can't figure out how to get out of the hole you dug for yourselves: drugs, guns, prison, etc. so let’s just sum this conversation up with a female opinion since we know you are waiting for it. We don’t have to marry a man and three other chicks, be humiliated and disrespected for our husbands to figure out that he needs one word to resolve this issue. You don’t need multiple women all you need is God. Black men have a tendency to want to handle everything themselves and that is ok but the Bible is your resource. The good book is full of problem solving resolutions. Africa was a country riddled with war for many years ….but we did not grow up in that environment in the United States and African women here are too strong to be led off to slaughter. What you brothas need is Jesus and as much as you may resent the truth ….. God is the answer. When you pull up to that stoplight and God has that one moment to speak to your heart the first thing he will say is…..you know she is right! If you want an answer to the problem give your heart to Jesus….

  3. This is called Isithembu in my language and it is very normal among African peoples. Even though I do not come from a polygamous family, I have friends and family members who practice polygamy. It is seen as an achievement actually to have multiple wives, it is a sign of wealth and strength because it ensures the continuation of the bloodline and during pre colonial times, it meant the family had more hands available for labour so they were rich in a sense.
