Slavery was absolutely horrifying ut these men and women did a lot for the land.
Bro at the end was flabbergasted 😂
"If you can convince the lowest white man that hes better than the best colored man, he wont know your picking his pocket. Hell give him someone to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."- president lyndon B johnson
I really dislike the dude on the right. He's always annoying as hell in all his parts. 🙄
Writers ☕
This is propaganda. Black people don’t talk like this. You won’t trick me Hollywood.
i watched this movie when i was 6 years old. that was quite an experience
Engini***
Mordo and Strange in an alternate timeline
Paul Dano: “playing the riddler messed me up”
*mean while
Paul Dano:
I really need to watch this movie.
But then isn't the timber water logged? Or do they have to dry it either way? Idk, I've heard it takes a year to dry a log.
I despise slave movies. I know it’s history but, it’s the cruelty of people to their brethren because of SKIN COLOR!
cut..
-Paul, have you read the script?
-Yes, I've just improvised..
-I mean the next scenes(he gets beaten up)..
So glad this only lasted for a little 90 years the trans Atlantic slave trave yes it was wrong but what about the constant slavery and murder happening every day today in Africa and the middle east ohh that doesn't get you reparations or sympathy darn I guess those "brothers" don't matter
"Well, the film originally had a PG-13 rating, but Paul Dano showed up on set one day and started…improvising."
It amazes me people where this ignorant and evil.
It’s even more disturbing that people still think this way. And they say the alphabet group has mental illness issues. 😂
Right is RIGHT. Always will be. Sometimes, MIGHT can topple right. It's doesn't change right is RIGHT.
😮😮😮
For over 150 years they made it illegal for us to read. And in 2024 they still get mad when we ask for our reparations.
Ain't shit changed white people still the same way do enough in front of them and get too much praise and see what they let you know 😮💨
😅
The difference between the real and the A-hole.
Aren’t ppl hot back in the days?? Always layered up for no good reason
No more than 12 feet at thier most narrow says nothing( it could mean 2 inches)… About 12 feet or at least 12 feet actually states something of value. Fire the writer becauce that line makes no sense.
I’m beginning too like Paul dano
We were ALWAYS FEARED By the weaker ones… because We are good at Anything You say we cant do
Strange nd mordo in an alternate timeline get along quite well
The work field hasn't changed much
Good actors but a terrible movie
Paul Dano taking shots in these comments and I'm here for it😂
Benedict Cumberbatch.🧔🏻 The greatest Dr Who that never was.. ⏳
When racists are surprised that black people are so intelligent.
classic paul dano
3 incredible actors
What i dont get is why Solomon didnt say
"Hey this paid laborer is an idiot and he keeps kicking holes in stuff I'm building for you, maybe get rid of him?"
Instead of attacking him and putting himself in mortal danger?
I get pride but Solomon probably knew he was way more valuable than that other douche.
We even hear his pragmatism when he is questioned for sucking up to the slaver.
Also why didn't he just say "write a letter to my northen friends, they'll pay much more for me than you did. If I'm lying then nothing will change."
Maybe the slaver was worried about the legal trouble that would be invited once he knew Solomom was a free man and as such couldn't accept payment for his freedom.
My favorite movie. Nigga run run so fast dove his head to a hornets nest…
Hes just mad his drumstick broke and his mom destroyed his Kiss collection.
Imagine owning people smarter than you 😀 I wouldn't be able to sleep 😀
Man I can't stand Paul Dano he always plays a piece of sh1t and tbh he's not even that good of an actor
Me explaining to the client why they shouldnt leave the material they ordered just sitting out.
Paul danos face at the end literally killed me
“You think he doesnt know you are much more that what you say!”
I wonder how bad he wanted to yell Strange!!! The whole movie😂
Why did Ford keep Solomon enslaved knowing that what he knows. It seems contradictory of his personality to continue the enslavement of Northup
