This man completely changed the Nigerian Radio scene in lagos when i was in my last year of secondary school back in Nigeria, he introduced amazing formats, intros, funny phonecalls and games, it felt like you were listening to a foreign radio station with Nigerian flavour and quality, basically it became the number 1 station at that time. Especially for us school kids at that time, it was kinda cool. I've been away almost 20 years and randomly just found that he died, rest in peace brother, you gave us so many memories.

The Lord is honored… even in this matter God's still GOD. His demise is painful but in all things God be praised. The Big Dawg walked on this side of heaven and touched lives positively, he left his mark in the sand of time. A lot of families were restored due to this gentle giant's impact. The man who changed the face of modern radio in Nigeria. Death, where is thy sting? The Lord has gained an angel. God rest his soul and may the Lord uphold the family he left behind.
I was always thinking back in 2000, which Nigerian guy that has a cool American accent on Cool FM? Now I got to see how he looks like after 20years hearing about his death, even that he was actually AMERICAN. Rest in Peace brother 🙏 Always couldn't help listening to your voice on the radio.
