  1. The lovely Chinese-American lady who said her scammer "was a lonely man in need of comfort" had the best of intentions, thinking she was helping someone. Ladies, we need to develop a very strong sense of skepticism. Emotional support and comfort is all well and good, but the boundary you don't allow a literal stranger to cross is your money and your personal safety.

  2. None of your new videos are showing up for me. I’m in Canada. Please fix! I know it’s an error because this happened with another late night show and they eventually fixed it.

  3. i never understood crypto, since day 1 its always been scam.. i dont know anyone whos made money off of it either, i dont get how ppl fall for that..

  5. I've talked with at least 7-8 women on different dating apps (all Asian) which were working for these scammers. Finally, one felt bad enough while we were chatting that she spilled all the beans… Thankfully, no money was lost

  6. I got scammed by being threatened – both me and my family, lost 30k and guess what happened when I went to the police… lost another 20k as the people who were threatening me were 4 policeman and their mule.

  7. So let me get this straight, GASO, which this show references, which specifically was working hard on combatting Taiwanese triads smuggling people to Cambodia due to a short in supply of Chinese being trafficked there, due to crackdowns by China, are all grouped under "Chinese triads" now?
Oh so I get it, Taiwan is not China, unless when crimes are involved, in which case all Taiwanese criminals are Chinese criminals.
Where does other countries get that luxury?
I wish we could do that in Canada too, then we'll have zero crime rate, if we could off load criminal identities to the US.

  8. I was told a story in person from a client. 6 figures in combined with diff lender. It was a scam. Went on about a year. Got an atty to get $$ back and I actually made 5 figures from that disaster of a loan. Miserable! Never again. Make sure you get everything in writing. In the US you have recourse.

  9. OMG! I think I was a target for one of these and didn’t realize it until now 💀 I did message back ‘wrong number’ and blocked them but it’s crazy to think I almost got scammed like that…

  10. gift cards for hamas their a war on their in need of CVS cards dept, children famlys who do nothing for america children are NOT working protecting children THEY are in the MALL monday to friday buying for themselves and families or gift given stolen items to their CHURCH especially waterbury conn. social workers and d.c.f. 11. I think I'm one of the people who actually would never fall for this scam in a million years. I like being alone, I never trust anything that even hints at crypto, never go anywhere I don't know or without someone I know irl, I don't like talking to people I don't know, I forget half my own info so can't give it out, and I'm permanently suspicious of every member of the human race because I professionally research them. Plus I look poor AF. So I have the best scam-blocker setup, it's called having multiple neurodivergent conditions.

  12. Some YouTube execs might want to watch this video. Cause literally 50% of all commercials on YouTube are scams. But they pay YouTubes bills, so who Cares, right?
Crypto, weight loss, how to get rich shemes, conspiracy garbage and the good old Classic "He found Something doctors/lawyers/Brokers/Scientist/politicians/the feds/the gov/wtf ever dont want you to know…" But they will Tell you the secret for a little fee, or by buying their book. Or by buying their bogus snake oil Product that heald everything from ball cancer to wobbly Banana…

If you Fall for Shit Like that, you deserve it. Better go read a book or Something instead spending all your Life in social Media getting dumber and dumber.

  13. I played along with one Asian woman who said she wanted to be a friend, and the "knife" for the butchering operation was gold futures to be chosen by her uncle and arranged through a British agent. It was exactly as described at the FBI website. I pointed out that arranging deals through offshore unregistered financial entities was a good way to get fleeced. She said "but aren't we friends?"

  14. My main takeaway is how these types of scams will always exist. There are countless variables. But the one thing they all have in common: they come from poor countries with a corrupt authority.

  15. Who else thinks those jokes he pointed at himself were actual comments he received and this is how he plays them off?
Just saying that laughing at yourself is honestly an underrated skill… if only because you can get much better at it than anyone else can.

  16. My partner and I are recently unemployed and we keep getting random text asking us questions in regards to job openings. We were able to figure out they are scams but when you're feeling desperate from being unemployed we wanted to jump at the chance for any job prospect!

  17. If you are that lonely just listen to a personal attention ASMR or join a traveling/workout/walking group or something. Don't think "magic will happen" with the first person you "connect" in a dating app.

  18. I'm so moved by this segment in so many ways.
1: I did a stupid thing but not at bad as that so I feel slight better about myself.
2: I feel like an ass for feeling better because I'm not "better" and because those poor people.
3: I'm horrified that people are trapped in buildings being forced to do this shit.
4: I feel so lucky to be in a place where that doesn't happen.
5: I feel so very sad for the people who have lost life savings or harmed themselves for falling for this.
6: I want tell everyone to NEVER send money to anyone they haven't met in person.
What a fucked up world we live in.
