  1. I thought plants and flowers in supermarkets were a thing of the past. Well, they are in a sense. In my day (I'm an 80s child) you'd go to a Pathmark or A&P and there'd be a special section, a room just for plants and flowers, where they were grown hydroponically (or was it soil-based?) under ultraviolet (purple colored) lamps. Alas, that's all but gone now, probably because plants and flowers attract unattractive stuff when housed in places full of food, and they weren't fully aware of this then.

  2. The white knight and pink princess are at Walmart for $20. There was a pink princess that had a ring of fire tag in it. Not sure if that happened at the store or the supplier because I did not see that plant there.

  3. I ordered a tortum from BWH plants for $17.49. It came today and is spectacular! Fenestrated leaves with new leaves coming in. Their website has a great selection of unusual plants.

  4. Hi Ashley, Great plant shopping video! Many thanks. I don’t have a lot of Cacti/Succulents, however, I would have picked up the chunky one in the pink pot wearing the tiny pink crown of flowers. Sooo adorable! Take care! 👌🪴🥰

  5. Lidl has great plants 🌿🌵 🌱🍃 at great prices. Good for you that you didn't get a plant to add to your collection. I might have got several for those prices… maybe one at each store 😉❤

  6. I love Trader Joe's they had a lot of great plants and I always go to Walmart where I live because you never know what great plants you're going to find I always enjoy watching your channel thanks for sharing

  7. The grocery store I work for in upstate new york has much better selection of plants at price chopper and its cheap we had silver sword and ficus tineke . String of turtles , sting ray aloccsia . 14 dollars.

  8. Wow, so many I would’ve grabbed. Of course we’ve been snowed in for a couple weeks with sub, arctic blast temps. I would’ve grabbed that little multi tier. Fuzzy old lady, cactus. Pretty sure it’s the same as a smaller one I have. Also, would’ve grabbed the black striped Maranta and a few other cute little cactus.💚🌵🌿🌱

  9. Wow!!! I want that Philodendron Crocodile. Recently found a ring of fire at Lowe’s, was labeled Golden Violin. Would love to know of any local plant shops you visit. Just outside of Charlotte and would love to visit shops with a larger variety of plants than the big box stores offer. Thank you. 💚

  10. My local GIANT supermarket has philodendron mamai. Unfortunately none of them was in the best condition, but I snagged one anyway. It's supposed to be an easy plant so hopefully mine will recover.
