I respect the opinion. Are you betting vassell? I would argue popov is younger, faster, better cardio, and much better at control on the ground. I don't see vassell getting a low level sweep like he did against moldovski. This will be interesting to revisit.

Popov has fought absolutely no one. Moldovsky lost two in a row vs. Vassell, despite "the three different camps preparing for Vassell" you mentioned. Moldovsky has not beaten Vassell since March 2019. That extra prep didn't help Moldovsky but will now propel his teammate Popov to victory??! Have you even seen Popov take a shot from a legit heavyweight? Nope. He has not fought any. A theoretical cardio and wrestling advantage out of Moldovsky IS what you were banking on when Vassell overcame a vicious groin shot to beat Moldovsky a few months ago. As tired as Vassell was in that fight, he still was able to win the third round and nearly finished him for the second time. Popov has never fought someone that hit as hard as Vassell and Popov's non-regional scene opponents are a complete joke. Oh yeah, Popov knocked out Bigfoot Silva in June of 2022, who has lost 14 of his last 15 combat sports events (approx. a dozen of those by KO). You think the PFL wants an all-Russian final so they lay on each other and spar for 5 RDs to avoid hurting one another? Don't be silly men.
