  1. The president wants to work for the benefit of Ghanains and seeing how this CJ operates she is bound to frustrate the good intentions of the President especially involving corruption charges on persons belonging NPP. Ghana is a crime scene indeed and this moraly bakrupt CJ will defend everything NPP that is brought to the SC

  2. Npp and their CJ disarmed again …

    Biribiri doesn’t solve anything …

The SC has already said you can’t stop the President from performing his duties as enshrined by the constitution

    Shame on Npp and surrogates

  3. Listen to your legal expert again. What an absurd opinion. We don't need any signatures other than that of the petitioner. Every Ghanaian serving in any capacity must be held accountable. At the end of the day, it is the substance of the case that matters, not how many Ghanaians signed a petition.

  4. I am disappointed in the commentary of your supposed legal expert. He talks about common sense, when a citizen petitioned Nana Addo to remove the same CJ in 2024, did Nana Addo give her a hearing? The petition was discretionally dismissed. Did she request to be given a premature hearing under Nana Addo? The days of ethnocentric and class-based interpretation of our laws is over. The CJ is unfit for purpose. She must go. Ghanaians have lost confidence in the judiciary and the unanimous FC are a major factor in recent decline in public confidence in the judiciary.

We need to rebuild the image of the judiciary, this can not happen with the same actors and materials at post. The CJ must go!!

  5. Some recalcitrant and stupid entities, I read yesterday were blaming NDC of stealing the containers, and I said to them that they should wait and see who will appear in court. They will be crying blood. It is a difficult thing to achieve right. Then, there will be no NDC/NPP, the thieves will be giving account.

  7. We have a whole former AG and some too known parliamentarian, both claiming to be seasoned lawyers jump the gun to sue the government for what ever to stop the removal of the CJ. We have the men as always the saying by these criminals but they find themselves very much wanting at a point. Please ask the CJ to step aside while investigations continue.

  8. They will finally turn the judiciary into "security services". The CJ term ends with the presidency. Politics have destroyed everything government. Schools ,health sector , roads, environment (galamsey) to some extent the security services , they are gradually moving like the arm of the judiciary. They destroy it . If you want fair judgement, you will have to carry your case to the commonwealth court , because every judgement will be politically tainted. They don't give a "F" about the apolitical citizens.

  9. All these foolish so-called ''professors'' in Ghana shaaaa……that IDIOT should tell me how many people took the anti-gay bill to court before akuffo addo refused to sign the bill based off of ''that'' billπŸ˜‚

  10. There is no clause or phrase in Article 146 where the demands of the Chief Justice have a leg to stand. The Article only provides that the CJ should be given a fair hearing when a committee has been set up by the president after the consultation with the Council of State establishes that there is a prima facie case. Therefore, the CJ would be given a copy of the petition before she appears at the committee set up to deal with the matter.
I disagree with Prof Agyemang Duah. The Presidency did nothing wrong by informing the citizenry that the President had received petitions for removal of the CJ which were referred to the Council of State as part of the requirements of Article 146.

It is not all that Prof Agyemang Duah is saying that may be grounded in law. Expecting the president not to inform the public of the existence of such petitions is wrong. The president hasn't disclosed the petitioners nor the content of the petition.
This CJ, the EC Chairperson, and her deputies must all go asap. The battle against corruption and RESETTING this country will not be successful if this CJ is not removed. She must go.
