    1.5 tbsp White pepper

    3 Bay Leaves

    1 Medium Size Tomato for Garnishing

    1 Small Onion for Garnishing

    Salt to Taste

  2. basmathi means one with an aroma.and its considered female for some reason so the mathi suffix…and its not an awful smell…seems you are not used to cooking with regular basmathi and yes for pulao type rice dishes golden sella is better rather than regular basmatthi

  3. The rice looks delicious. My question is, does it have the unique party jellof taste?
    Cos that's what im looking for.
    Are the tomatoes necessary? I dont like fresh tomatoes.
    And also does the butter give the rice a buttery taste cos i dont like butter taste. Im pretty picky but jellof rice as ive tasted it at several parties were always sweet. Pls help me with my questions
