She say na gauri
European elites need to stay out of Africa.
And you Westerners need to protest your governments and elites. They ruin counties and those people migrate to your comfortable western life, that was built but exploitation and theft.
But westerners don’t. They’re too busy worrying about Israel and Palestine. Smh
Jamaicans love cassava too.. usually fried or baked though. I have tried fufu and I do like it.🫶🏼
Forgot about cooking it as one of the key steps😂 the most important one 😂
In Kerala, we mass consume Tapioca.
In India, it’s eaten on fast days as sabudana
Yucca is a different plant. Stop using this name? It shows that you don’t know what you are talking about.
What country had its crop stolen from it, leaving its people to starve or find an alternative? That is what some people have implied in saying how proud they are of Nigeria/in a country that still has its staple food.
Humans beings are so narrow minded and the internet hasn't made them more broad-minded and informed, something they should have been without the it. Just having commonsense should have done it. The Almighty has given humans many types of edible plants all over earth so this eating of one kind of plant like nothing else exists, is high stupidity. Africa is the biggest land mass on earth and commonsense should tell everyone of at least normal intelligence, that it has the largest variety of edible plants. It is vegetarians and vegans who make use of the variety that is around them.

I love YUCCA
“Less likely to endure famine” means more likely to die. It would be experience, or suffer famine.
😅 the way they harvest the root is not sustainable. This only lead to ground erosion and lost of natural elements to rain season
Cassava is made by Africa and Jamaica also
Cassava is already a staple food ingredient in Asia, especially in Southeast Asia. What do you think the Boba of Boba/Bubble Tea is? They are tapioca balls, and tapioca is cassava starch. 😅
That scoop was perfection
How does it taste? Are they as tasty as potatoes?
I love fufu 😊😊
Rhrhrjrrjeiehriru
Big tubers.
Isnt cassava also poisonous without the proper preparations?
Fufu is gross 🤮
Gross
It's actually from South America, it's been used there for thousands of years
Its low cost means it can feed lots of people, it has a lot of calories and prevents disease and scurvy with its vitamin C content
I really want to try fufu, it looks so good, like the dough from snow white when she's baking the lies 😂
Cassava is a popular dish. Hence, the Ghanaian Akan word 'fufu', meaning white. Actually, the word is 'fufuo', but it has been shortened to 'fufu'. I'm glad to see how this twi word has been adopted across.
I'm Guatemalan and we eat them fried and in soups.. it's so delicious 😋
Our food 🔥
We used cassava to make bammy
I want fufu
It's also high in Cyanide
I love cassava. We make bammy in Jamaica
It does not replace rice, and rice is not more expensive
I'm just trying to remember isn't cassava like toxic like one of the compounds is like a hi cyanide compound content so you have to prepare the same way to break down the cyanide into non-lethal components
Being Cuban and seeing people enjoy yucca makes me so happy. We cook it with garlic, onions, and salt and it’s one of my favorite dishes. I can’t wait to try it as fufu
One of the root vegetables i stay away from.
That's right, must not leave the country
